***I do not plan to return to this dealership and would not recommend it based on my experience.*** I left this dealership feeling extremely disappointed with how my purchase was handled. My biggest co not recommend it based on my experience.*** I left this dealership feeling extremely disappointed with how my purchase was handled. My biggest concern was the Paint & Fabric Protection coverage. The Paint & Fabric Protection product was applied to the vehicle before I purchased it and before I signed the purchase agreement. Because the product had already been applied before I was presented with the final paperwork, I felt as though I had to buy the product and did not have a meaningful opportunity to decide whether I wanted the coverage before it was added to my financing. I did not fully understand that this coverage was optional and believed it was being presented as something that was already on the vehicle and therefore required as part of the transaction. When I later learned more about the coverage and requested a refund, I was told that because the product had already been applied and signed for, it could not be canceled. This left me feeling frustrated because, from my perspective, the product was applied before I had the opportunity to make an informed decision about whether I wanted to purchase it. During my discussions with the dealership, I expressed my concern that I never had a meaningful opportunity to decline the coverage before it was applied. In response, I was asked, “What do you want us to do, scrape it off?” I found that response dismissive of my concerns. My issue was never whether the product could physically be removed from the vehicle; my concern was that the product was applied before I signed the purchase agreement, that I did not fully understand the coverage, did not realize it was optional, and did not feel I had a fair opportunity to decline it before it became part of my purchase. I believe dealerships should not apply optional protection products to vehicles before a customer has agreed to purchase them. Customers should be given the choice to accept or decline these products before they become part of the transaction. In my experience, once a product has already been applied before the purchase agreement is signed, customers may feel they have little practical ability to decline the coverage or seek a refund later. I spoke with Finance Manager Cat Cunningham and General Manager Jose regarding my concerns. While they were courteous, I was disappointed that my concerns were not resolved. Based on my experience, I would encourage future buyers to be very cautious and to verify everything for themselves rather than simply relying on what they are told during the sales process. Carefully review every document, ask detailed questions about all protection packages and add-on products, and make sure you clearly understand what is optional before signing any paperwork. More
