I rarely post negative reviews, but my experience with Ron Marhofer has been so unacceptable that I feel people need to know what happened. I leased a Hyundai Tucson from Ron Marhofer, and the vehicle is Ron Marhofer has been so unacceptable that I feel people need to know what happened. I leased a Hyundai Tucson from Ron Marhofer, and the vehicle is now qualifying as a lemon under Ohio law. Unfortunately, the problems have gone far beyond the vehicle itself — the lack of communication, accountability, and customer service from this dealership has been incredibly disappointing. When I initially leased the vehicle, I was never told that Marhofer was not purchasing my vehicle. Weeks later, I was told the lease had been paid off but that the vehicle would need to be grounded. Then, unbelievably, it took the salesman FOUR MONTHS to tell me that I personally needed to be there to ground the vehicle. During those four months, my vehicle simply sat on their lot. My Hyundai has since been in their service center FIVE TIMES for the SAME ISSUE, totaling more than 100 days in the shop. And despite all of this, I continued to give Marhofer my business. My husband recently purchased a new Nissan from them, and I continued taking my vehicle to their service center because I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. I genuinely believed that eventually someone would take ownership of the situation and help resolve it. Instead, I have called THREE TIMES asking to speak with a manager, and my calls were never returned. A Marhofer Nissan salesman even personally delivered a note to the Hyundai branch asking the manager to contact me. Still, no one called. That is what is most disappointing to me. Mistakes happen. Vehicles have problems. What matters is how a business treats its customers when those problems occur. After spending this much time and money with Marhofer and giving them multiple opportunities to address my concerns, I should not have to chase someone down simply to get a phone call returned. At this point, I have to wonder: Does Marhofer care about its customers after the sale is made? I was planning to purchase a Nissan Rogue once my Hyundai was bought back. That was going to be another vehicle purchased from Marhofer. Not anymore. After this experience, I will not be purchasing another vehicle from Ron Marhofer Hyundai or any Marhofer dealership. Maybe this post will finally reach Chris Marhofer. I hope it does, because someone in leadership needs to know how this customer has been treated. I am sharing this because I believe customers deserve better. Communication matters. Accountability matters. And treating people with respect matters. If you have had a similar experience with Marhofer, I encourage you to share your experience as well. Maybe, collectively, someone will finally start listening See less More

I told Warren I was not interested in the extended warranty but he proceeded to tell me it was state law for him to go over it in detail. After continuously saying no he kept pushing us to get it. He tried to pit me and my wife against each other, fortunately to no avail. He told us that the truck engine would blow up the moment we tried to tow our boat. I’ve bought at least 2 dozen cars in my life and have never felt worse after a purchase than I did with this one all thanks to Warren. More
