My experience was very pleasant from the moment I arrived. The receptionist Kim greeted me by name upon my arrival. She made me feel appreciated as a customer, was extremely personable, friendly, eff arrived. The receptionist Kim greeted me by name upon my arrival. She made me feel appreciated as a customer, was extremely personable, friendly, efficient, I could go on and on. Kim offered me refreshments, held a pleasant conversation with me and from that moment, I knew that I was in for a positive experience at Mercedes-Benz of Annapolis. Arella, my sales consultant came in on her day off to handle my transaction. I was already sold on the vehicle, so there was very little effort required to get me to sign on the bottom line. I informed her that I already had financing in place, but Arella mentioned that Allen would have access to several other options and that MBOA would love to handle my financing needs as well. Allen came and introduced himself and from the moment we spoke, I felt like I had a friend for life. Allen was a joy from the very start. His demeanor was completely out of character for a finance guy, most are cold and stiff, not Allen, he made me feel welcomed and valued instantly. Allen asked me a few questions, and said he’d get right back to me. I was not prepared for what happened next. Allen congratulated me on my credit score and said, “have I got a surprise for you”…. I was offered 2.99 % financing, over 60 months. I almost cried… The financing through one of my other financial intuitions was 4.99 %, but it was based on 36 months. My note would have been almost four hundred dollars more per month and I would have also paid more in finance charges, for a shorter repayment term. I could not have imagined a better agreement. To top it all off, when I returned to pick up the vehicle, Asher gifted me dinner for my daughter and I at a nice restaurant in Annapolis. Allen, Asher and I had been smack talking about football, relationships, etc., and it felt like I was just shooting the breeze with friends that I had know for years. Sorry to be so long winded, but the level of service I received at Mercedes-Benz of Annapolis, was incredible and well deserving of praise and acknowledgement. I am extremely pleased with the overall experience at MBOA. They have a great operation throughout the entire dealership. I can’t praise MBOA enough. Overall, it was the absolute best customer service I have experienced, in a very long time. bought a used Mercedes convertible (2020) this summer and from the start did not have a great experience. However the transaction got done and we drove off with the car and I thought all was well. The next day the tire pressure light went on- for BOTH front tires- and we also went out to drive the car to the gas station and the second key they gave us did not work at all. We called the dealer who said to put air in the tires and that they should "normalize" - which we did and further instructed us to go to the Bethesda Mercedes dealer to have them change the key battery. We went to Bethesda Mercedes and they informed us that the key we had been given did not need a battery - that it is the wrong key for the car and needed to be switched for the correct one. We immediately called the dealer to ask for a solution and they kept moving us around to different voice mails. We called over ONE DOZEN times - no response. So finally we drove the car to the dealership (which is a one hour drive each way from our house) and got up there and were told we were lying- that the key we had been given had been correct and worked when we bought it or that conversly it must belong to another Mercedes we own!!! WE DO NOT OWN ANOTHER MERCEDES! After a rude and non-productive conversation they took the additional key and told us they had "no solution" and that they would get back to us. We are waiting for an appropriate, professional resolution promptly. Truly a terrible experience and disreputable. We hope it comes to a successful ending shortly. More
