However, our experience took a turn when we sat down with the finance manager, Earl. We asked if he could match or beat the pre-approval rate we had from our bank, and his response was, “Why does it matter if you’re only taking out a small loan?” That comment caught us off guard, it felt dismissive and unprofessional, but we kept calm and just wanted to get through the process. Things only got worse when we declined the additional packages he offered, simply because we didn’t need them. After that, Earl’s body language and attitude noticeably shifted, it felt like we were no longer welcome. We were really disappointed with his behavior. If we had the option, we would have preferred to work with a different finance manager. Despite that, we’re happy with Xavier and the service he provided. More

I dislike buying cars, for the obvious reasons – salesperson misrepresentations, lack of transparency and not product knowledgeable. I've had "bad luck" with most dealerships. However, what an awesome surprise at Herb Chamber, Sharon MA! Starting with the Sales Manager Andrew T. who was very pleasant, accommodating, transparent and relaxing to work with. My salesperson Dave T. was very nice to work with, no pressure and quite accommodating. He willingly answered all of my questions, which there were a lot of, with knowledge of the product line. Also, the business manager I was assigned, Jerry D., was the best! No high pressure sales pitch, to upsell me on maintenance, tire & wheel, and many different contracts available. Although, after Jerry took the time, and had the patience to deal with me, I realized purchasing the maintenance and tire & wheel contracts were a very good fit for me. Herb Chambers lived up to its reputation as being a first class organization. They run their business quite well, catering to the customers by making sure they are well informed and comfortable with every aspect of purchasing a vehicle. I am extremely pleased with my experience at Herb Chambers, Sharon MA and specifically my salesperson Dave T. and Business Manager Jerry D., whom I spent the most time with, both are honest, very product knowledgeable and true gentlemen. It is very rare for me to issue a positive review regarding auto dealerships and specifically individual employees.
