My wife and I had been Paragon customers since 2015. Through Paragon we leased at least 1 Accord and 4 CRVs. Until 2025 our experience was uniformly positive. A sea change occurred in 2025. We had a Through Paragon we leased at least 1 Accord and 4 CRVs. Until 2025 our experience was uniformly positive. A sea change occurred in 2025. We had a 2024 CRV with negligible mileage and were offered a key exchange; the 2024 for a new 2026. With all of our interactions either via e-mail or phone, we found the sales staff to be often unresponsive and frequently either unknowledgeable or untruthful. The deal we thought we agreed to was not the deal they presented to us. We reached out to senior management. After a delay, we received an apologetic response, accompanied by an expression of hope that Paragon would be able to retain a valued customer, on terms acceptable to us. That sounded very promising and we went forward. Unfortunately, what seemed to be promising did not materialize. By way of example, we had agreed to pay $330 per month on a 39 month lease. Our 2024 was the up front payment. We were responsible for the taxes and fees. We were to receive the same package we had received previously, including free maintenance for a specified period, all weather mats in the seating areas and the cargo space and a cargo cover. When it came time to execute the lease we found our $330 per month payment had become $350. Why? Because the free maintenance coverage we had on our prior leases and was promised to us on the new lease, was an additional $20 per month. When the came time to actually exchange cars on November 28, 2025, the transporter professed ignorance about the cargo cover. Separately, I have hand controls on all my vehicles. As in the past, Paragon was to remove the controls from the 2024 so that they could be brought to a licensed technician for installation in the 2026. I cannot drive the car without these controls. We were told the controls and the cargo cover would be delivered the next day. On November 29, 2025, Paragon sent an e-mail; it did not have the staff for a delivery and would, instead, mail the items. The mail was incorrectly addressed, returned to Paragon and its contents stored on a shelf in the parts department. I was not notified. It was only after I complained to senior management that an “investigation” was undertaken, the hand controls were “found” on the parts department shelf and correctly mailed to me. The cargo cover was not included. As if to add insult to injury, my first monthly payment was billed at $350.80 with no explanation as to the why or where for of the additional $.80. My days as a Paragon customer are over. More
