I've has several service (warranty) issues with my 2023 Colorado. Wilsonville is much closer to my location; however, I prefer McLoughlin Chevrolet. May 2025: Abysmal service department experience at McLoughlin Chevrolet with a warranty issue on a 2023 large SUV. - The service department took 3 weeks to incorrectly diagnose our "whiny transmiss McLoughlin Chevrolet with a warranty issue on a 2023 large SUV. - The service department took 3 weeks to incorrectly diagnose our "whiny transmission". McLoughlin Chevrolet had our car from May 1 to May 22. - After the first backordered parts replacement, the vehicle failed final inspection two different times, resulting in delays due to backordered parts. - When returned to us, we noticed the same whine in the transmission. - We took it to a GMC dealer down the street from McLoughlin Chevrolet. - Within hours, the GMC dealer called to tell us they found metal shavings in the transmission fluid, most likely from grinding gears in the transmission, which is what is causing the "whiny sound". And they said the prior maintenance team had overfilled the transmission fluid. - Now we have been without our vehicle for another 3 weeks because McLoughlin Chevrolet missed the fact that the transmission needed to be replaced. On top of that, while our 3-row vehicle was being incorrectly diagnosed for 3 weeks, McLoughlin Chevrolet gave us a smaller, 2-row EV that could not be charged at our house. But, they did offer for us to bring it to the dealer to be charged up during the 3 weeks…not helpful. More
