First, I want to give my advisor Clovis B a standing ovation for all the knowledge he has given me regarding my vehicle as well as always being so professional, friendly, and educated when it comes to any questions I have regarding my GLC300 truck. However, what saddens me is that I notified on today by the dealership that they would not compensate me for a cracked windshield that occurred at the Mercedes Benz of Baton Rouge. As you may know we experienced some snow on last week and my vehicle was left at the dealership for repair(an issue that wasn’t resolved when I brought my vehicle in December 2024). My truck had been sitting at the dealership for 2 whole weeks, and when I initially brought it in there was NO cracks on my windshield, however when I picked it up on today there were TWO cracks on the windshield and I was told that unfortunately it was due to the “weather”, and I would have to take care of it myself . Not to mention my vehicle was brought to Mercedes Benz of Baton Rouge on December 31, 2024 and stayed until January 3, 2025, and I was advised that the sensor in question didn’t show. On January 3, 2025 after picking up my vehicle the same sensor came on again and I had to bring my vehicle back to the dealership for the second time. Now this second time I picked it up with two cracks in the windshield, and was told to file an insurance claim which I would have to cover the cost. I will NOT be returning to Mercedes Benz of Baton Rouge due to way upper management handled this situation. I have been to this dealerships on numerous occasions and to have this happen and be treated this way is disturbing.

You get an appointment within a decent time frame and while you’re there they continuously update you about your vehicle and how long you can expect to wait, etc. They always diagnose any issues your vehicle may have and it get it resolved quickly. Dear AllStar Volvo Service Team, As a military veteran and a dedicated Volvo owner for many years, I've come to expect a certain caliber of service from the Volvo brand. Having owned four Volvos, my experiences, especially in the DFW area, have always been of the highest standard. Regrettably, my recent interactions with your Baton Rouge location have been deeply unsettling. My initial visit for a sunroof warranty repair was fraught with challenges. After an 8-hour wait, my sunroof issue remained unresolved, and a simple request for an oil change was overlooked. It was only upon my insistence that these matters were hastily addressed. Such a prolonged wait, only to have basic services neglected, is far from the standard I associate with Volvo. The concerns didn't end there. On my subsequent visit on August 11th for an air conditioning issue, my car was not returned until the 23rd. Alarmingly, I discovered the activation of the parking assist and auto start service lights upon collection —issues that were definitively absent when I initially handed over my vehicle. The emergence of these issues, coupled with a glaring lack of communication or any provided repair estimate, suggests not only a rushed job but also the possibility of these problems being introduced during the dealership's handling of my vehicle. In further discussions, the technician cited workload pressures as a potential reason for these oversights and made an unwarranted assumption about my repair preferences. Such assumptions and lack of thoroughness are not reflective of the professionalism I expect. To add insult to injury, my car was returned in a dirtier state than when I left it. While I can understand certain constraints due to staffing, returning a customer's vehicle in a less clean state is simply inexcusable and further underscores a lack of attention to detail. AllStar Volvo Service, it's imperative to understand that the essence of customer service goes beyond mere repairs. It's about respect, communication, and a commitment to excellence. I sincerely hope my feedback serves as a wake-up call, prompting a thorough review and improvement in your service approach. Sincerely, Volvo Customer
