Horrible experience. - bimmerfan
Horrible experience. I purchased their most expensive CPO BMW in inventory at the time.
It was said to be receiving 4 new tires when we negotiated a price. It was delivered to me with 4 tires within 30-50% of their useful life remaining, one of which had a nail in it.
The rear view mirror cap was hanging off of the car.
The alignment was off.
How this passed as CPO BMW M5 is beyond me.
They overcharged me for SC sales tax.
They tried to mark up the BMW advertised interest rate while I have perfect credit - actually fought and won this battle.
I will say that the Sales person was great to deal with, genuine car enthusiast. His management and ownership, not so much. They wouldn't even speak to me after multiple escalation requests.
They prioritized the bottom line over doing the right thing and lost a long term repeat customer.
They then had the audacity to ask me to lose $12k on the car a few weeks after purchasing it to buy a different car from them, which I obviously did not do.
Would not recommend. Will be doing my business with Hilton Head BMW going forward.
