This is one of the worse dealership and service department. Took my wife’s 2023 Q5 Sportback in for an inspection, oil change and audio system service. Spent 5 hours there for them to present a bill to repair the subwoofer on a vehicle that’s still under warranty. Asked to speak to the GM, who never came to see my issue. This was my wife’s 4th and probably last Audi. I would rate the sales representative, service manager and GM at the bottom of the star list, the worst!!!

While traveling for business in NYC, I brought my vehicle in for a flat tire and also asked them to check a warning light related to the safety sensors. I was told the vehicle needed a $2,500 calibration and that the issue may have been caused by a front grille sensor being out of place due to impact. This immediately raised concerns, as I had not hit anything and saw no visible damage when dropping off the car. Uncomfortable with the explanation, I declined the repair but was still charged $271 for the diagnosis. Afterward, I reviewed the intake photos taken by the dealership, which clearly showed no damage or misalignment to the front grille sensor. When I brought this discrepancy to the service manager’s attention, it was never properly addressed despite multiple attempts. A few days later, I took the vehicle to another Audi dealership near my home, where the issue was resolved at no cost. I was also told that even if calibration had been required, the $2,500 quote was excessive. I returned to Audi of Brooklyn to request a refund of the diagnostic fee and provided the requested documentation. Since then, I’ve received little to no response, and my follow-ups have gone unanswered. Overall, the experience felt poorly communicated, lacking transparency, and below the standard I expect from an Audi service center. I strongly recommend getting a second opinion before approving any major repairs here.

★☆☆☆☆ One Star – Deceptive diagnosis, no accountability, terrible customer service I brought my vehicle to Open Road Audi for a coolant leak and after being charged 359.00 for diagnostic ( turned out to be a visual diagnostic ) I was quoted roughly $7,200 for a water pump and thermostat (plus related items). I then took the car to an independent professional mechanic who correctly diagnosed and fixed the actual problem, performed a pressure test, and documented “no more leak” after the repair—total cost $450. The independent shop also checked for other leaks (none), topped off fluids, and confirmed brakes/suspension/hoses/belt were fine. They noted my sunroof needs dealer adjustment, which Open Road has not addressed. After this, I repeatedly asked Open Road management/ownership for objective diagnostic proof supporting their $7,200 recommendation (tests, data, clear verification). Instead, I received defensive emails and a technician video pointing to “coolant residue,” even though I had been topping off coolant during the leak (which can leave residue). Management also stated they do not pressure test if they “already identified” the leak—yet they provided no real test evidence. I even requested to bring the vehicle back so they could put it on a lift and show the leak in real time, because the water pump/thermostat/breather were never replaced—so if their diagnosis were correct, the car should still be leaking and at risk of damage. It isn’t. In fact, after the independent repair, I drove over 200 miles round trip from Brooklyn to Pennsylvania with no leaks and no issues. Despite all of this, they continue to deny responsibility, offer no corrective action, no compensation for the full day I lost, and they still haven’t fixed the sunroof issue. Overall: dishonest, misleading, and unacceptable customer service. They take no responsibility. for incompetent dishonest, and shady service .They have no integrity

One of the easiest car-buying experiences I’ve ever had! Imani Murray was an outstanding salesperson, and I highly recommend asking for him when you visit Jack Daniels Audi of Paramus. I give him two thumbs up — he's very honest, professional, and provided excellent customer service throughout the entire process. Whether I called, texted, or emailed, Imani responded almost instantly every time. That level of communication made everything smooth and stress-free. The Finance Manager, Mantas, was also a pleasure to work with. He was straightforward, didn’t pressure me into any additional financing options, and made the paperwork part of the process very easy. People like Mantas and Imani truly represent what great customer service should look like at a dealership. I would absolutely return to work with them again and wouldn’t hesitate to buy another vehicle from this team.

The car wasn’t charged, the tire pressure monitor flagged an issue (later found to be a nail), and an open recall was left unaddressed. My car ended up in service for days—these are things that should have been handled before delivery.
