I brought in my brand-new Chevy EV SUV because of a - sankov77
I brought in my brand-new Chevy EV SUV because of a persistent rattling noise coming from the passenger-side window. This is now the second time I’ve returned to this dealership for the same issue, and unfortunately, the experience has been very disappointing.
Instead of taking the concern seriously, the service team claimed they could not hear anything and even suggested the noise was caused by a makeup purse my wife put in the glove box. That explanation makes no sense—especially since the rattling started the moment I purchased the car and drove off the lot as well as after service, with or without anything in the glove box.
I expect more thorough troubleshooting and accountability from a certified Chevy service center, especially with a brand-new vehicle. Brushing off concerns or placing blame on something unrelated is not acceptable. A customer shouldn’t have to return multiple times for the same unresolved problem.
At this point, I do not feel confident in this dealership’s ability—or willingness—to properly diagnose and fix the issue. I’ll be taking my SUV elsewhere and hope Chevy addresses this lack of quality service.
