Took my 2024 mustang in for service and a noise when - Not Happy

Took my 2024 mustang in for service and a noise when closing my passenger door. My service writer told me that my tires could not be rotated because they were different sizes. This was not true. They are all the same size. I showed him my concern with the door noise. He told me it was normal. This also was not the case. I kept pressing him until the mechanic took the door panel off and found a loose bolt on the window track. I’m not surprised that they couldn’t hear the noise with the extremely loud music. It was so loud you could hear it in the waiting room. Needless to say I will go to another dealer that is cleaner, quieter, and has better trained service writers. There is no reason a service writer should be diagnosing a problem from his desk! Don’t waste your time or money going here.

**Worst experience**. Never recommend and don't waste your time. I went to look for an pre-owned GLS 450 which was listed the price as $41994.00 online. After the initial discussion and finishing test drive we went to the table for final discussion. Here come the superhero. The service manager came with papers and told the price listed in online Lincoln website is incorrect. He increased the vehicle price closure to $49000.00. I asked what going on. He casually replied the price is incorrect in website and said that will be refreshed over month end. OMG, I have no words and nothing to talk. I simply walked out as I felt arguing with that guy is useless. It was a terrible experience. I wasted so much time and walked out with much disappointments. Venting out my frustration here. I've bought three cars from them and after this experience I won't ever again. The salesperson and I picked out a vehicle that fit my needs and they had in stock. Since my car was dangerous to drive I needed a car ASAP, which is why I was willing to buy a used car. After waiting for 20 minutes he shows up with a totally different vehicle and says that they had loaned the vehicle out and it wouldn't be coming back for over a week. I explained that I was highly interested and I know that when I had a specific loaner that they traded it out early since they needed the car. I reached out to the salesperson to see if they had gotten the car and his response was he's working on it. I called D'Ana in customer service who said that she would look into it. Apparently my business wasn't important to them. Today, I got a call that the car is back. Too late as I needed a car.

Worst dealership to do business with. General manager Dave is very combative. If you lease a vehicle, they will charge property taxes with your lease payment. I asked if I overpay the taxes, will you refund the difference. I was told no, Ford Credit Company will keep the overpayment. Try another Ford dealership. They are not nice people to do business with. Everything is an argument with them. They do not make the experience enjoyable.

I am writing to formally express my deep concerns regarding the continued service experience at your dealership involving my 2022 Ford F-150 Hybrid. As an automotive technician with over 27 years of experience, including work with Honda and the U.S. Navy, I understand that modern vehicles are complex machines and that component failures can and do occur. My frustration is not with the quality of the vehicle, but with the consistently poor service and lack of follow-through I’ve experienced when trying to address ongoing issues with your team. Since day one, this vehicle has had persistent problems. I’ve made every effort to clearly describe symptoms and provide detailed information to assist your technicians. Unfortunately, I’ve found that my concerns are often dismissed or misdiagnosed, resulting in unnecessary delays and repeat visits. For example: On the first visit, I reported a check engine light along with a burning smell, similar to that of an electrical issue. I was told the problem was a coolant leak from a failed component. That part was on backorder for nearly two months. Once installed, it was discovered that the wiring harness had also been burned—something I had initially suggested. Had a proper diagnosis been done from the start, this could have been addressed in one visit, not two. More recently, I’ve had an ongoing issue with water leaks from multiple areas of the cabin, including above my head and through the map light area. Despite three visits for this issue, I’ve repeatedly been told the problem was clogged or twisted drains. As a technician, I know that drains do not spontaneously twist. I’ve even inspected them myself. I’ve also brought up a noise coming from the sunroof area above the passenger seat. This concern has been downplayed or ignored, with explanations that don’t match the details I provided. My most recent interaction with your advisor, Chris, was particularly disappointing. His responses felt scripted and dismissive, and I got the sense that he simply wanted to get me off the phone. He also seemed annoyed when I questioned his conclusions or suggested alternative causes. At one point, he contradicted himself by stating he was only relaying technician notes but later told me he had personally test-driven the truck. When I came to pick up the vehicle, there was no evidence that a water test had been performed. It appears the drains were cleared again and the vehicle was returned to me without further investigation. Over the past 2.5 years, I’ve done my best to be patient and cooperative. However, based on my experience, I no longer have confidence that my concerns will be addressed properly at your dealership. I feel that I’ve been treated more as an inconvenience than a customer, and that is unacceptable. At this point, I do not plan to return for future service. While that may be a relief to some on your team, I do hope this feedback serves as a wake-up call. Customers—especially those with technical experience—deserve to be heard, taken seriously, and treated with respect. I sent this message to Peter Bloom and another follow up and no response.

Quite simply, they lie. I leased a car from them, leased another car and just bought it out. I was told that I could purchase a powertrain warranty for $295 at the time of my buyout. I wanted to discuss with someone else and asked if I could get back to him (Tony). I decided to purchase the warranty approximately 10 days later. I called Tony to see if it was still available and he checked with his boss Tommy and I was told yes they would do it. I was told to come in the next day and meet with Marie. I arrived at the dealership and sat down with Maria who proceeded to tell me that because I didn't purchase it at the time of buyout that they would have to do a 125 point inspection at my additional cost of $385. I was NEVER told that. I was told that I could make a decision after buyout date but don't wait to long. I called to check if the purchase opportunity was still available and was told it was. Then like the sneaky sly group they are, they tried to force me into an additional $385 cost. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN. I ADVISE ANYONE LOOKING FOR A LINCOLN OR A NEW CAR, GO ELSEWHERE!!
