My entire experience was exemplary from initially speaking to the salesman up to the Sales Manager. Even a sales person who wasn’t working with me helped me tremendously when my salesman was off..Their combined attention enabled me to make the best decisions. The Manager went above and beyond to accommodate me and solve an issue I had with my trade in..! The final result was getting a great car at a great price. I can fully recommend this Dealership to anyone looking for a tremendous experience.

This is my 3rd Subaru purchase.Twice dealing with Steve Chaves, the man is awesome-a pleasure to sit with, he is knowledgeable, patient, answers question ensuring your understanding. No 'pressure" from Steve. Joe Messina gets a 'thumbs up" for making sure your at ease and asks if you are comfortable with process. Cannot say enough about Inna Perez, the woman has found her calling in being Business Manager. She is friendly, personable & patient. She is a pleasure to sit & speak with, she moves along quickly & efficiently her knowledge makes her an outstanding valuable employee along with Joe & Steve, I must acknowledge the service department also. Over the years I have been extremely satisfied with their understanding & completion of service in a timely manner. Recently I have dealt with Justin Luiz, once for an emergency tire issue, with no appointment on a Friday afternoon Justin took care of the issue & I was on my way sooner than I expected. Because these are stand-up guys who have stepped up several times to make repairs or replace parts...over and above their warranty obligations... That is a rarity among businesses...and perhaps even rarer among car dealers. But Planet Subaru has a great philosophy: "DO THE RIGHT THING" And they live up to it...'nuf said, right?

OK I have to give credit where credit is due. This was probably the hardest sale they ever made, and I apologize to Julie Andrews and Michael OConnell, and to David Melkonian for all the grief we gave them. But that being said, you can buy your Suburu anywhere, from the "big box" dealerships, or you can buy from a family owned dealership. The Melkonian family have been selling cars since Moby Dick was a minnow. I have bought many cars from their other dealerships ( Ford) but this was a family members first car and she wanted a Suburu. She had gone to 2 other dealers, including one of the bigger of the big faceless company owned ones and did not like how she was treated. She said to me that she was treated much better at North Reading Suburu. In the end she might have paid just a little more for the car she wanted, but not enough to get bent out of shape about. What she got in return was the car she wanted, fair treatment, and a dealership with one of the best Suburu service departments around and I can say that from experience. When you buy a car you are also entering into a relationship should you need warranty service. Being a small dealer they have the ability to work closely with their customers in the unlikely event you need warranty service. The big box service writers and service managers are not going to take the time to fight for you. North Reading will. Again, my thanks and apologies to David Melkonian, Julie Andrews and Mike O'Connell for all the trouble. All of you went above and beyond.
