I’ve been buying trucks from Mccords since 2000 and I get a new one about every 4 to 5 years for my business and have had nothing but top notch service whether it’s an oil change or something bigger Richard in service has always gone above and beyond in his friendliness or hunting for a part I need I send all my family members here 1 st when they are looking for a car or truck and Vonya tge service manager is head and shoulders above any person in her position I have ever worked with she takes the time to come out and say hello make sure you had a great experience and makes u feel like your part of the family I won’t go anywhere else I’m on my 5 truck 3 jeeps for my wife and all 4 of my kids have bought rigs from them you always here about bad interactions which if u run a large company you can’t please everyone but in my opinion these folks are the cream of the crop and wanted to let them know how much I appreciate all there hard work for the Hass family

I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. Worst experience we've ever had with a dealership by far. Sold us a car with multiple problems we were not told about such as non-working AC, we bought the car during winter months, that they then wanted to charge us a fortune to fix. Taking the vehicle in for services is a nightmare as well. They once had the vehicle for a week just to give it back and say they found nothing wrong with it. We were charged a large detection fee and were then stranded on the side of the highway when our allegedly perfect vehicle broke down completely. They are the definition of slimy used car dealers.

Review for Renton Dodge Dealership: Zero Stars Shame on you, Renton Dodge! I’m a single woman who made the trek 1 hour and 40 minutes one way—six times in just three days—to buy a used Dodge Ram SLT 4x4, and I was completely swindled. The vibe was off from the start, with false information and a blatant disregard for customer safety. In the short time I was there, four people were fired, including the general manager (who introduced himself as Tom, the owner). That alone should have screamed, “RUN!” During the test drive, I immediately noticed a clicking sound when making sharp turns, and the transmission felt incredibly tight shifting from first to second gear. I expressed my concerns to Tom, insisting I wouldn’t buy the truck unless his “16 years professional mechanic” could thoroughly check it for safety. I left the truck with them overnight, fully trusting their claims. The next morning, Tom called to assure me that everything was fine—that the clicking was normal for a 4x4 and that the transmission was perfectly fine. As a single female buyer, I trusted him to have my best interests at heart. Who would lie about potential issues that could leave me stranded in the mountains? The real kicker was the warranty sign in the window advertising 3,000 miles or 3 months of coverage. When I mentioned this during financing, the staff acted dismissive, claiming it was “an error” and that the sign should not have been placed on that vehicle at all. They even tried to shift blame onto each other. Tom stepped in to close the deal, leaving me feeling uneasy but desperate to believe I was making a sound purchase. Driving home, the SVC light came on, and the truck struggled to shift into second gear. I took it to a reputable mechanic, who found that the clicking noise was coming from both axles and the transfer case shift motor. The transmission fluid was black, and I learned I needed new inner and outer rod ends, new CV axles, and—get this—the entire transmission had to be replaced! I called Tom, who told me to bring the truck back and assured me he would cover "everything." When I arrived the next day, I found out that Tom and several staff members had been “fired.” Feeling completely swindled by their lies, I requested that my mechanic's bill be covered, but they refused. If you’re considering buying from Renton Dodge, beware! They are more interested in liquidating their inventory than in ensuring customer safety. Make sure to have a trusted mechanic inspect any vehicle before committing. I wish I had done that before I fell into this trap!

**Review: Misleading Practices and Poor Customer Service** I recently tried to purchase an Escalade V from this dealership, and the experience was nothing short of frustrating and unprofessional. Initially, they advertised a warranty that supposedly came with the vehicle. However, it quickly became apparent that this was false advertising, as the warranty didn’t apply to this particular car. When I pointed out that the car was overpriced, the salesperson referred me to the manager. The manager presented me with a Canadian spec sheet, claiming the car was worth over $40,000 more than it actually was—a blatant attempt to justify an inflated price that was still higher than their advertised amount. As an out-of-state buyer from New York, I was informed that they only accept cash deals for out-of-state purchases. Despite being prepared to pay cash, the manager claimed he would make an exception for me. However, things took a strange turn after I submitted my ID and credit information. The manager insisted that I find a notary to proceed with the sale and suggested sending my personal documents to the notary. This is highly unusual since, in New York State, documents are typically sent directly to the customer, who then takes them to a notary. When I shared this with my bank, they were baffled by the dealership's demands. The manager also claimed that their website stated they do not do out-of-state deals. Yet, when I asked him to show me this policy, he conveniently ignored my request. It became clear that they were not interested in selling me the car once they realized I was a well-qualified buyer from New York. He also denied giving me a contact with the finance department which seemed to be the one pulling his strings To make matters worse, my bank, which is part of their preferred network, attempted to reach out to them numerous times, only to be ignored. The manager also claimed that their website stated they do not do out-of-state deals. Yet, when I asked him to show me this policy, he conveniently ignored my request. After all this, they abruptly ended the deal without any explanation, leaving me with no understanding of why they decided to walk away. It’s worth mentioning that this car has been sitting on their lot for over four months, likely due to these deceitful practices. I’ve purchased cars out of state multiple times and have never encountered such an experience. In summary, I strongly advise against doing business with this dealership. Their misleading practices and lack of transparency are significant red flags.

Do not recommend using the service department! We had a coupon and decided to try having the oil changed there. We booked an appointment for 10 am. They were great and let us drop off our vehicle the night before. Well 3pm rolls around and no word yet in the car being done. We called and the guy didn’t know and says he will call back…. 45 mins later we call again and he still didn’t know. Lucky he did find out it was done. Go in to get the car and give the coupon we had mentioned and they refused to take it! They do have a sign posted below where you stand to check out but the coupon does not say it won’t be honored at some locations! Absolutely awful experience and now we are out more money than expected. Heck the coupon even says it’s for Yakima but they won’t take them!
