I want to share my experience with Abbey Meeks, Natalie - jfarrissr
I want to share my experience with Abbey Meeks, Natalie Douglas, Christian Vorndran and the team at H-I-L-L Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram of Virginia Beach. What started as a hopeful and promising interaction unfortunately turned into one of the most disappointing car-buying experiences I’ve ever had.
After losing my car due to an accident that wasn’t covered by insurance, I found myself in a difficult situation financially and emotionally. I had high hopes when I came to this dealership, especially after feeling like the team genuinely cared about my needs. Initially, they seemed focused on building a relationship rather than just closing a deal. I left being left thinking I’d found a dealership that valued integrity and compassion.
However, at the last minute, everything fell apart. When reviewing the final numbers, I noticed unnecessary charges that hadn’t been discussed, including fees for documentation and nitrogen for tires—typical markups that felt like an attempt to take advantage of my trust. I offered to pay their asking price minus $500 in cash, believing that given my difficult circumstances, they might care enough to meet me halfway and forgo some of the unnecessary fees. Instead, they outright refused and insisted on charging these add-ons, showing no flexibility or empathy.
As a disabled individual who’s faced significant challenges over the last few years, I was shocked and disappointed by their lack of support or consideration for my situation. Despite knowing my circumstances, they offered no assistance with transportation, lodging, or any additional costs that would have made this process more manageable for me. It became painfully clear that their priority wasn’t helping me—it was maximizing their profit.
What began as a positive and hopeful experience turned into a disheartening reminder that, in the end, this dealership is no different from the rest. They didn’t care about me as a person—only about squeezing out every possible dollar.
I’m glad I walked away from this deal. For anyone considering this dealership, I’d advise you to look elsewhere. Don’t let initial kindness or promises fool you—transparency and integrity are lacking here.
