I recently purchased a new F-150 Lariat from Jenkins & Wynne Ford. I had previously viewed a specific model 2025 Ford F150 502A, but it was sold to another customer that same morning. The salesperson assured me they had an identical one in a different color. However, I later discovered it lacked key features like the universal garage door opener and wireless charging pad, which are standard on the Lariat trim. It turns out the salesman sold me 2025 Ford F150 Lariat 501A. There are huge differences. I trusted the salesman and wanted to be in and out right away.
Additionally, I was unaware that maintenance plans aren’t automatically included—I had to specifically request one. I also had to use my reward points to obtain basic floor mats, which I believe should be standard with a vehicle at this price point.
With a MSRP of $78,000 truck, I anticipated a more seamless and customer-focused experience. It’s disheartening to feel like I have to negotiate for features and services that should be standard. I hope the dealership reevaluates its approach to better meet customer expectations.
