Sales Manager Lamore Merchant was the best! Aside from being a lovely person, he did everything he could to meet my needs price-wise, resulting in me buying a car from this dealership. He is extremely knowledgeable and patient. Answered all my questions and explained what I needed to know. Allowed me to leave a deposit and come back the next day for another test drive. The only negative about the process was the extremely long wait time for all aspects of the transaction to happen. Perhaps this was because I was there on the last day of the month and it was very busy. Otherwise......I was very pleased.

0 RATING…..Liars, unprofessional, fraudsters, untrustworthy, must take photos of your car before turning in leased car otherwise they’ll lie to say there is damage where there was NONE to give reason for extra charges. Tried to add on more charges until I pushed back and said I was not going through with leased contact. After many conversations, not once did they give it a reason for extra charges until complaint was brought to the BBB. PLUS THE CAR WAS GONE OVER BY SALESPERSON AND ME AND WAS TOLD CAR WAS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION RETURNED BELOW MILEAGE. I cannot believe this dealership would have lied like they did and rip me off. I will continue to leave bad reviews for how i was treated and how they lied about damages to returned car! THIS CANNOT BE DONE TO A CUSTOMER IF THEY’RE A REPUTABLE DEALERSHIP. I thought they were a trustworthy dealership, THEY ARE NOT!!!!!!

I called and spoke with Ken this morning when they opened and discussed a used car they had and figured out pricing and explained that im not local and would have to rent a cargo van to get there to purchase the vehicle and even verified everything with him a few times prior to paying for the rental to make it there and set up a scheduled time to come and buy the car. And I showed up a hour and half before the scheduled appointment and they had literally sold the car as I was sitting there and he kept looking at me and said oh yeah there not buying it your good. Well then he vanished and came back and asked if I was interested in any other cars and said no I just rented this cargo van as a one way rental to buy the car and drive it home that is almost 2 hours away. We'll they sold the car to the other people and then wanted to stick me with a couple other cars that weren't even comparable, and said I was crazy to not want them instead. Well before I acted a fool I said I would not be doing business with there company because the trust was gone and now im out several hundred dollars and my entire day gone to waste. I was definitely treated like garbage. And lied to many times. I would take your money elsewhere unless you want to do business with people who have zero respect or integrity. Where i come from we treat people with respect and honesty. And I did no get that here. Ken and Phil do better have a little respect for people and just be honest.

Hello Everyone, I must share my experience at Liberty Hyundai, as it has been exceptional since I purchased my 2020 Hyundai Palisade Limited over the last five years. I've consistently driven an average of 40 minutes to their dealership despite having another Hyundai dealership about 8 minutes away from my home. My experience with Service has always been welcoming, pleasant, and understanding of both my issues and my financial budget. I recently visited their service department since I was experiencing an issue, which I thought was a misfire, which in fact was diagnosed, and I needed a transmission replacement. Unfortunately, I am out of warranty at 116,000; what to do now? I only owe about 6,000 on my loan. I spoke to Mr. Paul Vasquez (Service Manager) and shared my concerns. He recommended I call Hyundai Corporate and share my concerns and inquire how they can assist. Hyundai Corporate instructed Paul to work on a work authorization explaining what was transpiring and how Hyundai wanted to do right by its customers. Surprisingly enough, in less than 48 hrs. I received a call from Damion sharing the GREAT News that Hyundai will cover 90% of the repair, and I would be responsible for the other 10% ($380), and they would also provide a loaner while my car is repaired. Now that's a Car Manufacturer and Dealership standing behind their product. Hats off to the entire dealership since it's a collaborative team effort to stand out from the rest. I also want to elaborate on their Parts Department since they have always taken into consideration that I've purchased my vehicle there and have always sold all my truck parts at a discounted price, again enticing me to drive 40 minutes instead of the nearby dealership. Powerball weekend, I will be picking up a 2026 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy if I run into some money on the Powerball. Not interested in a luxury car, but a Company that stands behind its product and its customers... THANK YOU, LIBERTY HYUNDAI...

Town Hyundai Service Department – Absolutely Awful Experience Do not take your car to Town Hyundai’s service department. From start to finish, our experience was appalling. Andrew and Emily were consistently disrespectful, unprofessional, and uninformed. My car was part of the Hyundai white paint recall. We received a letter confirming the paint warranty was extended through December 31, 2025. When I called ahead, Emily assured me no appointment was needed, the process would take 10 minutes, and they were open until 5:00 PM. We arrived at 4:30 PM, only to be told by Emily that they wouldn’t take the pictures or file the claim, claiming the warranty had expired. Even after showing her the official letter, she continued to argue. Andrew then stepped in and was even more rude and aggressive. He berated me to the point I had to call someone for support. When that person tried to explain the situation to Andrew over the phone, he yelled at her and handed the phone back to me saying, “You need to get her under control.” This is apparently Town Hyundai’s idea of customer service. Eventually, they did take the pictures. Weeks later, they called to schedule the repaint. Andrew falsely claimed we couldn’t get a loaner unless we paid out of pocket, which Hyundai corporate later confirmed was incorrect. Fortunately, we didn’t need one. When we picked up the car, it was shocking. The paint job left paint on the sunroof and back window, the trunk was full of garbage, the tire light was on, and the car now makes a horrible squeaking sound. We had explicitly told them not to replace the filters, yet they did—and charged us for both the parts and labor, despite Andrew saying labor would be waived. When I confronted Andrew, his response was: “You got a $5000 paint job for nothing and we did your car when no one else would, so you should be happy.” No, Andrew—Hyundai issued a recall because their paint was defective. They were correcting their mistake, not doing me a favor. I’ve since contacted Hyundai corporate and have been assigned a case manager. I will not let this go until my car is properly fixed. Avoid Town Hyundai’s service department at all costs. If you must go and encounter Andrew, ask for someone else immediately.

I recently purchased a vehicle from Sansone Hyundai in Woodbridge NJ on 7/12/25. First, they purposely post deceptively low prices in sites like carsguru and their own dealer website. The dealership says the deceptively advertised prices are for people who qualify military discounts or second buyer discounts. Discounts that cannot be applied to any normal customer. Second, they install dashcams and window etching to increase the sales price of their vehicles. I negotiated an out the door price with fees and taxes included with the salesperson and the sales manager Kevin Cadena. We signed financial paperwork with Allen Kenney with the assumption that our total out the door price of $25,500 with car price, taxes, and fees all included. We drove our vehicle home. Then, we have not heard from the dealership since my purchase and my temporary plates were expiring so I contacted the dealership for my plate. They never reached out but they state that I owed about $360 more due to miscalculated taxes and dmv fees. Although I live in Philadelphia, I am not the first customer from here. They knew where I lived at the time of negotiation and contract signing. They extorted me for my license plate as my temporary plate was expired. They would not send over the plate until I paid for their miscalculation. Any regular consumer understands that out the door price is car price, fees, and taxes all included. The dealership deceived me by purposely lowering dmv and taxes in the contract and increasing the car price. I know I am not the only one as the sales manager states that “it is a common issue.” But why is this a common issue? Why are consumers purposely misled by lowering taxes and dmv fees to increase car price on out the door price negotiations. Oral agreement on the out the door price are still binding and should be upheld even when the dealership makes the mistake on their calculations.

So, let me tell you about these guys, the Hyundai dealership service department in Flemington, NJ and my experience with Hyundai USA. I shared an earlier service review on Google which I'll soon be updating there as well. In short, I'm an 11-year Hyundai owner of 2 vehicles (2014 Santa Fe Sport 2.0T & 2021 Kona). The Santa Fe's driver door latch broke making it impossible to open the door (automatic lock worked but the door latch wouldn't engage). Took it to Fred Beans and they said they'd have to order the part, and the repait would be around $650. Brought it back 3 days later for service and I received a call that they couldn't get the door open to get to the latch. Here's the 1st kicker: They said they would have to damage the door panel to open the door to get to the latch, and that the entire repair would COST ME over $2800!! I explained that if they broke a part attempting to fix anything else on the car, that I wouldn't be charged for it, but they told me this was somehow different. The service tech even said that he had done me a favor by not charging me a diagnostic fee of $199, even though they didn't do a disgnostic because I told them what the problem was. I declined their service, took my car, and contacted Hyundai USA hoping to get a more reasonable resolution. The 2nd kicker: When Fred Beans Service returned my car, they left a part in the center cupholder and broke my automatic door latch! I took it back and was told that the lock broke while they were trying to get the door opened, and that the part was left out because they thought I was going to let them fix the door. Notice, I found these two issues on my own, and they refused to fix the power lock that they broke saying that it would be part of the overall door repair. Kicker 3: I took my car to a body shop and they showed me where the door panel had been damaged by Fred Beans service department when they attempted to get the door opened. I took a picture, and then asked them to fix the door latch. They opened the door and repaired the latch and the lock for $648! Kicker 4: Hyundai USA provided no solution either after two weeks of no contact, when I finally followed up with them! Kicker 5: Fred Beans Hyundai of Flemington is STILL sending me email "reminders" that I didn't have that $2800 service performed and that I need to schedule it. Someone representing as the owner responded to my Google review, acknowledging the problem and suggesting that I contact the service manager again. Why would I do that unless they are going to repair the damage done to my door and reimburse me for the repair?!?

We decided to go look at the new 2025 Hyundai Tuscon on the last day of the year (12-31-24) to possibly upgrade my Wife's 2020 Tuscon (53,000 miles) which has been a great reliable SUV with no major issues/expenses other than regular maintenance or wear & tear item replacement. Our plan was to go back to the Dealership who sold us our 2020, but we also included Franklin Sussex Hyundai which was closer to us. We were going to try Franklin Sussex Hyundai in 2020 but they had sold the Tuscon we wanted and had to go to the Dealership further out. Upon arriving at Franklin Sussex Hyundai, Alex (Sales Manager) dropped what he was doing to assist us and confirm the vehicle (Color Combination) was still 'In Stock'. Then, he immediately searched for an available Salesman (Solomon Deguzman) for us to go over some numbers. I've purchased many new vehicles throughout my lifetime and this is where the process often gets grueling! However, I found Solomon to be extremely pleasant from the get go which made the negotiation process very comforting while listening to our needs. I never felt pressured by him, which was huge for me due to my low threshold for patience at times like these. Solomon stayed good natured while going back & forth to present our numbers to Alex. We were able to come to a final deal without the grind a Buyer would often find with other Dealerships. This was truly one of my best experiences negotiating a new car purchase. Even, Brentt in Financing was very helpful to get us in and out. Solomon is also tech savvy with great knowledge of the vehicle itself and went out of his way to explain the nuances of the Tuscon. To make your experience as wonderful as ours was, I highly recommend you call ahead to request Solomon Deguzman (in forefront of photo) assist you with your purchase. Kudos to all the friendly people at Franklin Sussex Hyundai to get my Wife into her new vehicle!!! I'm adding an additional 5 stars *****!!!

Regarding the service dept, I would stay away from the service advisor named Domenic, who lied to me to try to get me to not pursue warranty work, and also physically intimidated me. Very scary stuff.
