I had a great experience Friday. I had Kyle Vinote as a rep. Little did I know he would have me in an amazing car! You need more people that are like him, who know how to connect with the customers on a personal level, instead of looking at the customer as their next pay check. I will be recommending Kyle from now on to anyone who may be looking for a new car.

Avoid Bay City Motors at all costs! Bought an 08 Jetta here that had a fraudulent inspection sticker. It took the involvement of the Maine State Police to get the inspectable items repaired and the car still has numerous issues. The back door won't lock and the window doesn't work. The rear defrost doesn't work. The airbag sensor light is on. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

We called K & R to say we were interested in a car and Teddy answered and invited us to see it. They were really busy when we got there but we were greeted immediately by several friendly staff and while Teddy was on a test-drive, he had the car ready and already started, so we could look it over. As soon as he became available, he ran to us and was very friendly and knowledgeable. From that point on, he did everything he could to answer our questions and m ake us feel comfortable. My test drive with him was a great time, as he is friendly and fun! Best car purchase ever and I'm 61 (don't know how many cars I've owned, but it's a lot). I highly recommend Teddy and will go back to K & R again If I ever need another vehicle. Oh, I love the car! It was a fair price and though we went to 2 other auto sales, I'm glad we shopped at K & R in Auburn, ME.

Rude, nasty people who avoid communication when the message isn’t in their favor. Got a quote for a job “two weeks, it’ll probably be a week but I’ll say two to be safe” it’s over a month and the work isn’t done, and now they’re suddenly charging for the work that they missed the first time around. Slimy people who also MLM on the side. Their number one focus is money, money, money, and look, looks, looks- well those things only last so long. Wouldn’t recommend anyone do business here. Read the reviews, and decide if this is a headache worth nursing.

The car we purchased was a problem child from the moment we drove it off the lot. They said they fixed things they didn’t, dodged our phone calls, and refused to work with us when we asked to swap/trade it for another vehicle. The vehicle itself was a complete lemon, was in the shop literally every 2-3 weeks and cost us way more than it was worth, but they refused to help us figure out how to get out from under it. The shop and sales office is a total dump and incredibly sketchy. we will never ever go back and are telling everybody we know to avoid it.

The experience I had buying from the Charlie's family in Augusta was basically perfect. They worked with me tirelessly to put me into a car that suited all my criteria. They worked through the night trying to meet my needs and one of the managers talked to me at 9;00PM and offered me what I needed to make a car purchase happen! I was set to buy a car in Maine after Bill Dodge agreed to price match a dealer in NY. Went in and they low balled me on trade in and added a false charge and tried to deceive me. Obviously done because they didn’t want to match. Their DOC fee is also the highest I was quoted and I live here. STAY AWAY or get ripped off.
