Out of the five dealers I contacted to Sale my new 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee altitude with under 100 miles, Todd was the only one that listened to me with out trying to hustle me like some of the others in town into buying a new Vehicle. Todd showed me the options I knew the value of the trade in and he told me the exact amount. Then we looked at the price range that I had in mind. The reason why I chose Todd Johnson is because he was honest from the start. and listened to me. He was also direct, It was that easy.The Vehicle I chose is a 2025 Hybrid Camry LE ,(one of the best on the market! consecutively years in a row and great price from all the articles I read) and I could not be happier with. Looks,comfort, 50 plus miles to the gallon, great acceleration which you really need in Lafayette traffic, great warranty. This has been the best experience with buying a car, I have ever had. Thank You Mr. Johnson for a outstanding experience and welcoming me to the Toyota Hampton family.Will be seeing you during the scheduled maintenance.I highly recommend you to others for your Honesty,integrity and listening so well to what I wanted...Hampton has got it going on in Acadiana. Oh and the interest rates are really good to buy a car compared to other dealers that I researched.I suggest getting the Gold warranty that includes window chips dings dent to your doors and all other parts not covered as well as a type of ceramic coating every 6 months to keep your vehicle looking good to protect the paint and shine. Ms. Candace Comeaux took me into the office and explained the level of warranty's and which one I may like to purchase. She was very kind and explained everything in detail. First, I want to give my advisor Clovis B a standing ovation for all the knowledge he has given me regarding my vehicle as well as always being so professional, friendly, and educated when it comes to any questions I have regarding my GLC300 truck. However, what saddens me is that I notified on today by the dealership that they would not compensate me for a cracked windshield that occurred at the Mercedes Benz of Baton Rouge. As you may know we experienced some snow on last week and my vehicle was left at the dealership for repair(an issue that wasn’t resolved when I brought my vehicle in December 2024). My truck had been sitting at the dealership for 2 whole weeks, and when I initially brought it in there was NO cracks on my windshield, however when I picked it up on today there were TWO cracks on the windshield and I was told that unfortunately it was due to the “weather”, and I would have to take care of it myself . Not to mention my vehicle was brought to Mercedes Benz of Baton Rouge on December 31, 2024 and stayed until January 3, 2025, and I was advised that the sensor in question didn’t show. On January 3, 2025 after picking up my vehicle the same sensor came on again and I had to bring my vehicle back to the dealership for the second time. Now this second time I picked it up with two cracks in the windshield, and was told to file an insurance claim which I would have to cover the cost. I will NOT be returning to Mercedes Benz of Baton Rouge due to way upper management handled this situation. I have been to this dealerships on numerous occasions and to have this happen and be treated this way is disturbing.
