I contacted Newton Chevrolet in Russellville KY on 3/19/25 to inquire about ordering a 2025 Corvette. A salesperson by the name of Tate answered my call. I explained i have been lied to by several Chevrolet dealerships in Nashville. When I arrived at these dealerships, they stated they are out of allocation for 2025 Corvettes. They wanted to switch me on either a new or used Corvette that I didn’t want. Tate stated Newton has a couple of allocations left. I told Tate, I was on my way. This Corvette is for my grandson. He’s been saving and wants a weird color combination. (Purple and Red). The last day to order a 2025, was 3/20/25. The sales manager Winston sat down with Tate and myself and we successfully got my grandson Corvette ordered. I would have never dreamed a dealership in a small town would be able to order this vehicle. I was willing to go anywhere in America to get this vehicle ordered. My experience at this dealership from the time I walked in, to the time I walked out was top notch. I had sold vehicles in the 80’s, know what to look for in a dealership. They also promised to give us the best deal on the market when the vehicle arrives. I will be buying from this dealership from now on. If you are reading my post, and are looking for good people, honest people, and a great experience, please check this dealership out. Even the other sales persons and the receptionist were friendly while we were in their dealership.

Late in the evening of March 24 I saw a 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon X Recon online. I had some questions and sent them an email. Susan reached out the next morning before sales hours and said she would get someone to help me as soon as they opened. Wade emailed me shortly after. I explained that we were a 2 hour drive away, He couldn’t answer everything and said he would find someone who could. Shortly afterwards Wade told me that Desmond Duke would be contacting me. For the rest of the day Desmond got me answers, sent me pictures, videos everything I asked and when he didn’t know he would tell me he didn’t but said he would find someone that did. We decided to make the drive Thursday. Many times you see pictures online or the sales person tells you something and when you go everything is totally different. Let me say THIS WAS NOT one of those times. When we arrived I was stunned how busy this place was. Most dealers we’ve been to lately have 0 customers and don’t seem to care. I texted Desmond we were here and we had already seen the Jeep parked out front. We got out of our car and Desmond was right there with the keys. The Jeep was even better than we expected. Everything was exactly what he said. Throughout the negotiation process they knew I was a cash buyer on a very high end Jeep and didn’t try to sell me other crap or financing. Yes they tried to get every penny they could, their job is to make money for the dealer, and my job was to keep every penny I could. Thats the process. If you work thru it long enough you will get to a fair deal for both. That’s what we did. Desmond and Al did their jobs, there were some tense moments and a lot of funny ones as well. In the end we got a good deal and made new friends. I would not hesitate to drive 2 hours again to buy a vehicle here. Ask for Desmond he’s an outstanding young man that will do everything he can for you.

I’m not the easiest customer as I have a lot of questions and I take my time deciding large purchases. Every step of the way Carl was quick to respond to my text questions, polite and bent around corners to put a deal together which I consider to be the best I could find within a few hundred miles. My wife and I were in Lexington from KC for a wedding. Our 2023 Tucson hybrid broke down and would not start. We had to boost the hybrid battery. We were able to drive it to Cronin Hyundai a few miles away. The service team here was awesome. Many thanks to Travis, Joey and Ryan in parts. We got connected to Enterprise and got a rental for the weekend. The parts we needed — Battery Management System and 12Volt integrated battery were not available. We decided to start the car up Monday morning and drive back to KC without cutting the car off. We also bought a high amp battery booster in case the car died on the road. They were so helpful as we considered our options and in getting us ready to roll. Travis even called us on Tuesday morning to make sure we got home safely. My dealership in KC has talked to them about what needs to be done to make the repairs. They were so nice to us in a very stressful situation. Good folks.
