Good service, but better communication is needed. I scheduled an appointment for recall repair, but received no follow-up. I was not contacted with any status updates, and when I showed up at the end of the day, the vehicle was still on the lift. Status updates would be very helpful as I had to rearrange my work schedule and coordinate with others to get a ride to the dealer for drop-off and pick-up. It's was also not clear if my vehicle has other recalls. The dealer said no, but I just got another letter in the mail from Ford today. Ugh.

While travelling from South Bend, IN to Indianapolis, IN for business, the left turn signal on my F150 began blinking erratically. Just north of Plymouth, IN I noticed a Ford dealership sign, so I stopped at the dealership and met with Mike Friar, a service advisor. He said he thought the issue was a burned out tail light bulb and had me pull into the service area. Mike and a mechanic removed the tail light assembly, which took about 15 minutes, and replaced the bulb which remedied the issue. When I asked how much I owed, Mike said he was happy to help me and there was no charge. As I drove away from the dealership, I thought about all of the doom and gloom we're subjected to through media and social outlets, and I realized we are surrounded by wonderful people like Mike and the mechanic. Oliver Ford is truly blessed to have employees like Mike and his mechanic.
