My wife and I have been Jim Ellis VW customers for almost 25 years. She’s purchased 5 beetles and I’ve purchased 3 jettas. This morning Monday August 17th was the experience of a lifetime. I was hoping to turn in a lease that had seen better days. Michael Landon and Julie Velez met me promptly for my appointment. I wasn’t expecting or prepared for the what they did for me this morning. Also at this time I met Brian Bolton the Business Manager and these 3 were able to get me into a beautiful new 2026 Jetta at an affordable price effortlessly. My words cannot explain how my wife and I felt leaving today in our new car. No one else in Atlanta could do what they did for us, not just the deal, but how they made us feel. A week ago, I traded in my 2021 Golf GTI SE (who I had originally purchased it from Brian Harper who worked here previously) for a 2024 GTI Autobahn. I had the great pleasure of working with Josiah, who in fact I had been in contact previously in the last 3-4 months. I came in to the dealership last minute on a whim, 45 minutes before closing on a Friday and had a great conversation with Josiah - and unexpectedly went for a test drive... Long Story short, I came back the following day, Saturday late afternoon. I originally came in to make a deal on an SE with Leather package if it made sense for me to do so - I wasn't entirely sure it made sense for me, and I had such a great rapport with Josiah and the rest of the VW Team that I wanted to make the purchase. Not sure how, but the Sales Manager Ramazan (Not sure if correct as I refer to him as Rami), said he would cook something up and asked Josiah to pull out a White Opal Pearl Autobahn GTI for another test drive. I fell more in love with it, and it drove fantastic with the Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC). After the test drive, Ramazan provided me with the Estimate Sheet, and I was shocked because the numbers made sense, and it was an Autobahn trim. I knew this was it and had to pull the trigger. We shook hands and signed some paperwork and got the process rolling. Everything went smooth, and I was more than satisfied with the level of service I received from the whole VW Team - From Sales, to Finance - Pete is fantastic btw! - and the GM. What made this whole experience great was the level of professionalism but also personalism; they were very transparent and honest, and very understanding of my situation and circumstance. I am extremely ecstatic that I purchased my 2024 Volkswagen Golf GTI Autobahn with VW of Marietta, and more importantly so with Josiah, who is cousin's with Brian Harper, who originally sold me my 2021 VW Golf GTI SE. Thank you again VW of Marietta Team for working with me and making this happen!

Caleb did a wonderful job assisting me from the start, through my questions and trying to understand the quote. The team sent me a video showing all the recommended work so I could better understand. We had issues after Caleb left for the day getting me a ride back to the dealership. Once an uber was called I was dropped and had to find alternative transportation to make it back to the dealerships before it closed.

Can't say enough good things about Ben and the entire team at Gerald Jones VW. Ben took the time to listen to me and ask me questions to better assist me and help me find the best vehicle for me. He then took the time to not only explain the different styles and options but went over financing options to include leasing with me. Once, I decided on the Taos the process to include trading in my Outback was stress free. Once deal closed, he spent an hour going over the car and explaining features in detail to include setting up Apple Car Play for me. Everyone at dealership was exceptional. I highly recommend.

Poor service, poor location, no pride... - John Galt

Bought a car here at a better price than dealer in Warner Robins, but have repeatedly gotten poor service. Took car in for 30-day check, employees standing around smoking or on computer playing, only one service writer, work got done, but detailer did poor job; in fact top of car and hood had circular scratches like the rag had been dropped on the ground. On another occasion had work done on car, but found it was not done when I got home as I had marked consumable parts that should have been replaced. Recently my salesman called me, said he'd quit and was working somewhere else, so I rode past VW dealership - like a graveyard. I realize brand is having some problems (diesel), but there were hardly any cars, only one salesman, employees standing around smoking - just no pride. Sorry to say a reputable dealer like Jackson bought his brand at a bad time and has been stuck with a poor staff culture. I think it would be best it dealer merged over on Subaru or Mercedes lot and that facility and staff were utilized to sell VWs and fire everyone over at Eisenhower location.

I visited Carvilla on March 6, 2026 to purchase a 2022 Rivian R1T Adventure Package (Stock #NN007505). The vehicle was advertised online at $46,700. However, when I received the buyer’s worksheet, the dealership added a $999 documentation fee on top of the advertised price. I asked if the fee could be removed or included in the advertised price, but the dealership declined. Under guidance from the **Georgia Office of the Attorney General Consumer Protection Division, non-government fees such as dealer documentation fees are supposed to be included in the advertised vehicle price. Only government fees (tax, tag, title) should be added separately. Because of this, I filed a complaint with the **Georgia Office of the Attorney General Consumer Protection Division. I even emailed the sales manager, Gustavo E Belzares, giving the dealership the opportunity to resolve the issue and complete the purchase by removing or adjusting the $999 fee, but I never received a response. I was genuinely ready to buy the truck that same day. Unfortunately, the pricing practice and lack of response prevented the deal from moving forward. I hope the dealership becomes more transparent about their advertised pricing so customers know the true cost before visiting.
