I paid six figures to be told "sorry, nothing we can do." I bought a 2024 Mercedes GLS 63 from Hoover Volkswagen, sight unseen, from out of state. That takes trust. I trusted what they told me. That was a mistake. During the walkaround, they pointed out exactly one dent and assured me it was fixed while I was making payments. The sales rep told me the car came with two keys. Neither of those things turned out to be true. The car showed up filthy. Coffee stains inside. Sticky surfaces. The dent? Still there. Temporary plates? None. And instead of two keys, I got one. I called Todd, the sales manager. He agreed to cover the $200 for the dent, which is the bare minimum for a repair they already told me was done. Then we got to the key. A replacement costs $1,400. I asked him point blank: "So you're telling me two keys were promised, you only shipped one, and I have to pay $1,400 out of pocket because your sales rep misrepresented the deal?" His answer: "Yes." That's it. Sorry, nothing I can do. Not a word about delivering a six-figure car in a condition no buyer should accept. So I asked to speak with the owner. Not possible, I was told. The owner's name is on every page of my paperwork, but apparently he can't be bothered to answer for what his dealership does. That tells you everything about how this place runs. The only person who did his job right was Leon in finance. He was responsive, honest, and professional. He deserves better than the team he works with. If you're buying from out of state, get every promise in writing. Better yet, buy somewhere else.

Overall, we had a positive experience with Volkswagen, and I would recommend this dealership to others. We worked with Jacob throughout the purchasing process, and I appreciate his assistance in helping us get everything finalized. The only part of the experience I found somewhat confusing was the pricing and financing structure. The vehicle was advertised at a discounted price, but obtaining that price required accepting a higher interest rate. On the other hand, choosing the lower promotional interest rate came with a different discount structure that brought the vehicle’s price closer to MSRP. I feel this could have been explained more clearly upfront, as it made comparing the financing options a little frustrating. As far as communication, responses were not always immediate, but that wasn’t a major concern for us since we started the process early and were not in a rush. We had plenty of time to work through the details before making a final decision. One of the biggest positives was how smoothly everything went when my son arrived at the dealership. He didn’t have to spend hours waiting around, and most importantly, he drove away with the exact vehicle he wanted! He was extremely satisfied with his purchase, and that was ultimately what mattered most to me. Despite the initial confusion surrounding the pricing and financing options, I appreciate Jacob’s help and the dealership’s efforts to make the overall buying experience a good one. There is always room for improvement, particularly with transparency in advertised pricing, but we are happy with the outcome. Can't say enough good things about Ben and the entire team at Gerald Jones VW. Ben took the time to listen to me and ask me questions to better assist me and help me find the best vehicle for me. He then took the time to not only explain the different styles and options but went over financing options to include leasing with me. Once, I decided on the Taos the process to include trading in my Outback was stress free. Once deal closed, he spent an hour going over the car and explaining features in detail to include setting up Apple Car Play for me. Everyone at dealership was exceptional. I highly recommend.

I visited Carvilla on March 6, 2026 to purchase a 2022 Rivian R1T Adventure Package (Stock #NN007505). The vehicle was advertised online at $46,700. However, when I received the buyer’s worksheet, the dealership added a $999 documentation fee on top of the advertised price. I asked if the fee could be removed or included in the advertised price, but the dealership declined. Under guidance from the **Georgia Office of the Attorney General Consumer Protection Division, non-government fees such as dealer documentation fees are supposed to be included in the advertised vehicle price. Only government fees (tax, tag, title) should be added separately. Because of this, I filed a complaint with the **Georgia Office of the Attorney General Consumer Protection Division. I even emailed the sales manager, Gustavo E Belzares, giving the dealership the opportunity to resolve the issue and complete the purchase by removing or adjusting the $999 fee, but I never received a response. I was genuinely ready to buy the truck that same day. Unfortunately, the pricing practice and lack of response prevented the deal from moving forward. I hope the dealership becomes more transparent about their advertised pricing so customers know the true cost before visiting.
