The staff was great but the car had several issues I discovered after signing all the paperwork. I know you buy a used car in 'as is' condition, but I have purchased many used cars and never had this happen. I guess I took it on good faith that a dealership would fix broken things and fix egregious cosmetic issues before selling it. I never felt the need to inspect every single thing in a car before, but I guess that's on me. Again, I just had the expectation that a dealership wouldnt sell a used car in that condition for top price.

This is by far the most uncomfortable and unprofessional experience ever. My boyfriend and I live 40minutes away from this location we met with a couple sales people yesterday and they reassured us that they would help us out in any way possible, with that in mind we came home and decided to go back today to purchase the car we had been eyeing out. Before we started any paper work my boyfriend specifically told our sales person more than 6 times to NOT run our credit more than 1 time AND again he reassured us that he would take good care of us and that he would make sure that wouldn’t happen.. but he did the total opposite. Long story short our sales person started helping other clients and didn’t pay attention to what his finance worker was doing because HE RAN BOTH OF OUR CREDIT more than 6 times!!! After we realized they had done that we were both STILL willing to work with them and we spoke to different sales people and they all refused to help us with better pricing.

Take negative reviews as absolute true. I purchased a car from them out of state. It has been a month and I still don't have the title in order to register the car in my state. They refuse to give me a temp tag as well. I have an expensive car sitting in my driveway that I can't drive. I'll be making my 1st payment before I get to drive the car. Reached out to find why it taking so long, and they informed me that they just requested from CA DMV for the title. It's been 4 weeks and their just now requesting the title. They wouldn't explain why they waited so long or offered any apology or solution. Bottom line, once they get their money, then they can careless about anything else. I've bought cars from out of state multiple times and I've never received such poor sales interaction. Even the process to buy was met with horrible communication and lack of follow up. Many of my requests during the sales process was pretty much ignored or giving some excuse as to why they didn't do something. The only reason why I proceeded despite all the red flags, was because they had the use car (Audi S7) I've been trying to find for 9 months. Otherwise, I wouldn't buy a car from them if they were the last car dealership on earth.

I've been going here for nearly 10 years and the service has gone down the tubes. In short, I had to return 4 times to get a window leak fixed. I was provided no concession and was even incorrectly charged for the service. I had to follow-up 4 times over 2 weeks before someone called me back to address it (when I was told they would get back to me the next day). Just really poor service, expectations, etc. I will never use them again

We were looking for a white Tiguan with 3rd row for our nanny - they didn’t gave one in stock, but within minutes were able to get approval to trade one from another dealership. I wasn’t able to go the next day to pick it up, so they delivered it to our home on Carmel. They beat Seaside an Salinas lease deals and were much much more pleasant and responsive.

Great dealership and sales personnel. Very hard working salesman and women. See Fatima and Vlab, they both did a great job in showing myself and wife what we wanted and drove over from Sacramento to see and buy. We bought our 2016 ram 2500 from them on Sunday. They both worked hard on cleaning the truck up before sending us on our way home with our new truck. We are very grateful for their good deal as well. We would buy from them again if they have what we want again when ready to buy our next auto.

I'm having major issues with my car right now but I feel confident having my car in their care. I have a new 19 jetta and have taken this vehicle to Folsom Volkswagen a few times now and feel so disrespected, disappointed, discriminated against, harassed and just taken advantage of. The first time was for my 20k service and upon picking the vehicle up I noticed a dent on the passenger front fender as well as my mirror being scratched. However the did offer to fix the dent they denied scratching the mirror. Mind you that my vehicle only had 20k miles at the time and had no previous damages (I deeply inspect my vehicle every time I wash it and know of every scratch and ding there is) dent was fixed but the mirror was not he last time I brought the vehicle in was for it’s 3rd service to be done and once I brought the car in I was greeted by the regular service advisor I’ve dealt with but everything was very unclear. A form was laid out in front of me with 3 options of service ranging from $300-$700 and I assumed the cheapest one was regular servicing and the higher priced were recommendations. Nothing was explained to me about what exactly would be done on my car and I had no idea there was a difference from an oil change and regular service as in the last they have used both terms when describing what’s going to be done. I left there with only one form stating a 30k service and tire pressure check but nothing else. I looked online and found out a service from them should only be $153 and some change. I emailed the advisor to stop repairs and only do the oil change nothing else. I would have called but it was a very busy morning at work for me. He did not respond until about 5 hours later saying the repairs were already about to be finished and sent me a copy of the $300 service. The major charge was a brake fluid exchange which it states should be done every 2 years regardless of mileage. Mind you this is a 2019 vehicle and we are barely in the first month of 2020. Why would they be doing this service if it is not time to do so. I questioned the advisor on the phone because he had called approximately 15 minutes after the email was sent to me and he just laughed when I questioned him. He told me I’m not reading correctly so I read word for word what was on the page he emailed me which clearly states 2 years (regardless of mileage) so does this not mean no matter what my mileage is that every 2 years I need my brake fluid exchanged? Because what I get from that is even if the car had 10 miles on it that the fluid should be changed on the vehicle in December of 2020 the earliest as I’ve had the vehicle since December of 2018 which means I’ve owned the vehicle two years hence the “every 2 years”. Again he just laughed and said he spoke to my manager and they will no longer assist me in any way ever again without giving me any explanation as to why I am now “banned” from getting service done at this location as the advisor said and repeated over and over which made me feel pressured, bullied, and harassed into accepting this unfortunate, undefined, unreasonable outcome. The only good thing that came out of this is that I only paid what should have been done to the car which was a basic service/oil change and I paid for fuel additives they put in the fuel system which I did not even know was going to be done and if so I surely would have opted out on that part since I only run premium gas with Techron which is an additive and cleanser itself. I am just purely ashamed to have even been seen at this dealership as it is a sorry excuse for a business. The Whole service office is smaller than a living room in a 1 bedroom apartment. The sales room is just sad and makes you depressed and feel sorry for the location for even attempting to be decent it’s literally comparable to the worst motel 6 you can thing of. There is just a huge empty pool like structure in the front that’s filled with dirt, grime, and a whole bunch of just green substance. Clearly seems like a health violation or something. I do not recommend this location what so ever unless you like being taken advantage of, abused, bullied, and harassed.

My husband and I went to Stevens Creek Volkswagen to look at a new Atlas. We live in Santa Cruz, but the Santa Cruz Volkswagen dealership is awful, so for us it was worth the drive. The first day we met with Bang and he was wonderful! He showed us a few different Atlas’ and they were great but didn’t have exactly what I was looking for. It was late so we decided to come back the next day. When we came back, we worked with Alex and again, he was wonderful! He found a new Atlas with everything that I wanted. As we were talking he asked if I would be interested in a CPO lease return. I said yes and he showed us a top of the line Atlas with every bell and whistle. Since it was a lease return, it was close in price to the new lower model we had been looking at. We were sold! Alex made the negotiation process a breeze and never pressured us of made us feel uncomfortable. He was upfront and laid back the whole time. I would HIGHLY recommend making the trip to San Jose to go to Stevens Creek Volkswagen if you’re in the market for a VW. Everyone was so nice and professional. We’ll be making the drive to have our Atlas serviced here because they’re so great.

Outstanding experience with Herman Cook! Let me start by shouting out JoJo our sales associate and her finance manager Linda. We didn't know either of them when we bought a used RAV4. But after that amazing experience (they trusted us to hold the car while we drove five hours to go get it!) we knew we wanted to lease our Tiguan from them. In this day and age, customer service is, at best, an 8 out of 10. But JoJo and Linda gave us 10 out of 10 and we couldn't be more pleased! Who doesn't loathe buying a car? Well with JoJo and Linda it was stress-free and dare I say "easy"! If you want to be treated like you have brains, like you might be intelligent and even savvy and that your time is super valuable-- go to Herman Cook VW. Decided to purchase a vehicle from Cardinale Volkswagen since we are HUGE MBFC Union fans. They treated my wife very poorly and I should’ve walked away then, but came back that weekend with my father who has bought all his vehicles here for the past 30+ years, and decided to purchase a car. Bought a $22k mini van with 60k miles. It had a chipped tail light and minor dents on the tail gate discovered once we got home, but vehicle was sold as-is apparently and there was nothing they can do. Fine- A month later my transmission went out. $6k fix and I have called the dealership three times. Can’t even get a call back. Times have changed. Will never be doing business here again.
