Sold me a car with one key fob. Told me it would cost a couple hundred bucks. Cost me $1100 for a new key and programming at MB. I am not as satisfied with my eCarOne experience as others. I found the car I liked and explained to the salesperson that I would pay cash and needed two days to transfer the funds for a cash sale to m others. I found the car I liked and explained to the salesperson that I would pay cash and needed two days to transfer the funds for a cash sale to my bank from my brokerage company. Could I give him a deposit to hold the car? Nope. Furthermore, I was told that only debit cards and certified checks were accepted, requiring me to wait until the transfer was completed and then travel to my bank to get a certified check. My debit card had a limit on it and there was no way to pay for the car on my debit card. To secure the car, I wound up financing it and ended up paying off the loan 5 days later. But, in the meantime, I went through the hassle of credit reports, credit checks, and applying for a loan. During my transition with eCarOne I was left sitting for hours at a time waiting for the salesman, who seemed to be servicing other customers. Even the credit guy left me sitting for 45 minutes. The final price of the car was several thousand more than the "no negotiable" sticker price with the usual special finish and other unnecessary charges to lard up the dealer's profit, and you are not told this until the final part of the purchase process. Do not believe their sticker prices! The entire experience was unnecessarily distasteful and it left me with the impression that this outfit is not really in the business of retail car sales, rather they seem to be some kind of wholesale outfit set up to deal with other car dealerships. I contrast this to a transaction I made almost simultaneously with a local dealership where I paid cash for a new car for my wife. I explained the transfer problem and they said, "Not a problem! Give us a personal check and we will hold it until you call us and tell us the money hit your bank account. We drove away with a brand-new car based on that transaction. What a difference! eCarOne could learn a thing or two by seeing how other car sales places work. I do not think they are serious about selling cars to individuals. More

I Give Ecarone 5 Stars. I was buying a 2022 Tesla model S. Made the deal over the phone and was 100% a very good deal. The Tesla was in immaculate condition . Flew into Plano Texas from Florida and the car was ready detailed and all the paper work was done and out the door less than 45 minutes. No pressure sales, Great service from the sales team and kind . Adam (manager) helped me with my Tesla via phone and in person was very professional and kind. I had looked for a Tesla model S for several months and finally found exactly what i wanted at Ecarone and much better price than any of the competition. More
