She pulled over and texted me, I googled Dodge Dealerships - Zimmer was approx. 30 miles away. In the meantime I called the service department where spoke with Jason; he said as soon as she arrives they will hook it up to the diagnostics - not to worry he understood what it was like for me being in Canada and potentially having my daughter broken down on the side of the road. I know they had to stay a little after closing and thankfully nothing could be found; he gave her the print-out to show our dealer her and made some recommendations for the remainder of her drive. Happy to say she made it home and the light did not come on again – I called Jason the next day to thank him personally – and I can tell you first-hand that Customer Service is a priority! Thank you Zimmer! More
After hours of searching the Internet, exchanging e-mails and visiting several dealerships around the Cincinnati area, I've ordered a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited from Art Gailliot and Zimmer Motors. The Zimmer dealership is not the closest to my home - it's about 20 miles away, in fact. But I chose this dealership because of Art's personal service and because of the initial price Art offered in an e-mail solicitation. My first interaction with Zimmer came via their website. I sent an e-mail via their website inquiring about the availability of a particular Jeep that was listed for sale. Art wrote back and confirmed this particular vehicle was on their lot and available for inspection. A couple days later, I drove to the lot. When I arrived, Art was visiting with another customer. He asked me to wait a few moments. I told him "no hurry" and that I would look at the Wranglers on their lot. A few minutes later, Art said he was still finishing up with the other customer, but he brought me the key to the vehicle I had inquired about. He told me to start it up and check out the interior. He said if he couldn't finish with the other customer in 5 minutes, he would come out and tell me to take the Jeep out for a solo test drive. He came back just a few minutes later, and he was then ready to go. I appreciated the way Art managed this conflict of time. I never felt like I was waiting unnecessarily. Art took me on a very long (25 minute?) test drive. I told him that this vehicle wasn't going to be the perfect match for me, based on its features. But I told him I appreciated his time and his service. A few days later, I decided to order a 2013. I solicited bids from 4 dealerships that I had previously engaged, including Art/Zimmer. The initial response from Art was a couple hundred dollars cheaper than the best of the other bids, so I decided to order from Art. I returned to the dealership a few days later to complete the paperwork needed to generate the order. Art is the primary reason why I bought from Zimmer. He's a professional. He's articulate, knowledgeable, easy-going, not pushy. I highly recommend Art Gailliot. I look forward to completing this transaction when my new Jeep arrives from the factory in a few weeks. More

After a not so stellar service/auto body experience, which I reported about here, Zimmer contacted us and wanted to hear our concerns. My husband talked with Catherine Zimmer (one of the owners) and Lee Fogel in Public Relations yesterday and I received a call from Lee as well this morning. I am happy to report that they showed extreme concern with our experience at their dealership and were truly gracious in wanting to make things right. The listened and they were understanding. They proved that lack of communication can be overcome and they are willing to win our business back. Thank you for taking care of us. We will now be happy to continue giving them our business and recommending them to friends. More
I ordered a part for my Ram 1500. Mr. Dan Preston in the Parts Dept was AWESOME!! He went above and beyond his call to make sure I was taken care of in a timely and efficient manner. He even went out of his way to call and make sure the part was available before committing to its next day arrival. He has awesome customer service skills and will make sure you get the right part you need and that its delivered to you when promised. He made a world of a difference and knows his stuff. More
I took my Dodge Nitro in to be serviced because of a grinding noise I was hearing. I was told it was the rear differential. I first had to wait on my warranty people to approve the repairs, and then I had to wait an additional 2 days for the parts to come in. It was in the shop a total of 8 days. I had to rent a car in the meantime. On the way home Saturday, after picking up my vehicle I noticed the brakes were acting funny. Something obviously was not put back together right because it is now sitting in my driveway, with brake fluid all over the place and the brake light glowing on the dash board. The brake pedal goes all the way to the floor. I cannot drive it and the Service dept. is closed on Sunday :( I guess I will hold off on commenting whether I recommend this company or not until I see how they are going to handle this situation. I came to the dealership looking to test drive a car that I had found online. He explained that a used car warranty would expire in a little over a year with the mileage that I drive. I test drove a 2012 doodge Avenger and fell in love! My purchase process was a great experience, as Steve Snyder carefully explained it all to me. I couldn't beleive that I was able to get a new car !!! I began to have an issue with the car not shifting properly on Sat night/Sun morning after I purchased it. I took it to the dealership to drop it off for service on Sun afternoon. John Zimmer was concerned and immediately got me a rental car to drive while mine was in for service. The service dept was in constant contact with me on Monday and advised the issue had been found and resolved. When I picked it up Monday afternoon, the problem was not corrected. I called Tim and he told me to bring the car back into him and he would get it fixed and back to me ASAP. Tim called on Tue and advised that a part had to be ordered, and the car would be done late Thur/early Fri. I got a call Friday morning advising me that my car was done and that Tim had personally driven the car to make sure that all issues were resolved. My car is now driving perfectly and I love it! I would recommend Zimmer Chrysler to anyone and everyone looking for a great car buying experience! They are very knowledgable about the cars and trucks that they sell... They get to know the person before they try to put them in a car, not just try to make a quick sale More

These folks were informed and honest. I enjoyed discussing my auto needs and although one was not in stock, they located the Liberty I wanted and had it in one day.
