Service Department has time management issue. On two separate occasions, I scheduled an appointment to drop my vehicle off, and both times they wanted to keep my vehicle overnight to work on it t On two separate occasions, I scheduled an appointment to drop my vehicle off, and both times they wanted to keep my vehicle overnight to work on it the next day. There excuse was that they got behind and could not service my vehicle. I had a 9:30 am appointment and get a call at 5 pm saying they couldn’t get to it a xxx nd want to keep it over night and it would be ready before close if business the next day. That would be them having my vehicle for over 36 hours for a two hour service. My personal belief was that they prioritize vehicles for service/repair based on which vehicle has the fastest repair and could generate a profit for the business quicker, versus a time consuming repair/ low profit margin service. This has happened twice in two years and is totally unacceptable. Now I have to travel and hour to a Dodge dealership that that I used when Zimmerman failed be there first time. I will never trust them with my business or car purchases again. I have bought my last two cars there over the last 4 years. More

Scheduled a service call 3 weeks in advance. Dropped off the night before and just needed fluids changed. Called near end of day because I had not heard from dealer and they said they hadn’t got Dropped off the night before and just needed fluids changed. Called near end of day because I had not heard from dealer and they said they hadn’t got to it yet. Finished near end of 2nd workday but couldn’t pick up until the third day. Short notice that was done just before they closed. I get the whole getting behind thing especially in this horrible economic environment but the least they could do is give status updates. They do have texting program but only use it to answer, hey how’s my car doing? A little proactive from Zimmer on this front might be nice. Going without a car for nearly 3 days is difficult and it should be given some concern by the dealer. More
