waste of time took time off to purchase a vehicle for my daughter....Ziegler was advertising 2 Renegades that I was interested in. Called them at 9AM to get an early start on my day. I was told both cars were available but would have to call me back to answer questions that I Had, An your later I got a call back stating that one of the vehicles was sold, and that the second car was available. I told them I was on my way to look at it. Upon arrival found that the car had several thousand more miles on it then what they advertised it with, but regardless was still interested. At that point was told that there was a deposit already placed on the vehicle. Why couldn't they tell me the car had a deposit and was on hold for someone else when I called an hour earlier? I wasted time away from work, gas, tolls and energy for absolutely nothing. Pulled out of their parking lot with that sleazy used car feeling. If you do decide to call them about a car they are advertising on numerous websites, be forewarned that the same can happen to you! More

False information I heard about Zeigler auto group on the radio. I called to inquire just to see what the fuss was all about. Upon completing the application over the p I heard about Zeigler auto group on the radio. I called to inquire just to see what the fuss was all about. Upon completing the application over the phone a representative named Charmaine (that I now learned was in the finance department) called me back to say I was approved and that I should come in to pick a car. I assured her I wanted a Buick. She asked why did I specifically want a Buick? I assured her it was my preference. She looked through her database and offered me a Buick Encore 2014 with a monthly payment of $491.. I scheduled a time and date and ended the call. I researched the Buick Encore and saw it was a bit smaller than my taste. So I never went to the appointment. Charmaine followed up with the call on August 20, 2016 to see why I haven't came in. I informed her that people try to get you into the dealership and have you leave disappointed. I emailed her my Id, check stubs, proof of address, etc. I told her I didn't want a co signer or put money down. She assured me on this call that that was fine because they had a program that helped with credit and they work with you. I scheduled an appointment for August 23, 2016. Again, I should have followed my first mind and still didn't keep my appointment. So upon arriving to the dealership in Downers Grove 45 mins from my house, I was greeted my Raul a salesperson to help with my loan. I was perplexed because Charmaine never mentioned she was a financial representative. So Raul started talking about everything that I told Charmaine in the beginning that I didn't want to go through. Meaning Cosigner, money down, etc. mind you we NEVER picked out a car yet. So I was very upset, I asked for Charmaine first but of course she wasn't available. So I got Charmaine's manager which was Peter. He came out & I addressed my concerns to him regarding the misinformation or the lies that Charmaine assured me of. He went on to say that they verify through a third party credit bureau that tells them what the customer qualifies for. This is unacceptable because driving this far out for representatives just to get is out here is not correct. I will also be submitting my concerns to the BBB. I want to assure that no other person has to endure this mess. More

The Sales Manager Kevin is a great person as well and everyone I was in contact yesterday when buying my vehicle was up beat and fun to be around. When it came time to actually sign the paperwork, was a little disappointed that Dave didn't go through all the financing details and show me how the numbers worked vs trying to chit chat about personal stuff. Really at this point there was no turning back but facing the 72 month commitment would have sank in a little better. Overall, I would definitely recommend this dealership which is $4,000-$5,000 cheaper than in the Champaign-Urbana area. It was definitely worth the trip!! thanks everyone at the dealership who assisted me in purchasing my 2016 Jeep Limited vehicle!!! keep up the great working and attitude!!!! More
