I came to the dealership on July 1st for my 11:00 a. m. appointment. I arrived about five minutes early, but unfortunately their computer systems and internet were down. The staff kept everyone informed and simply asked for a little patience. One of the technicians went above and beyond. He mentioned he might be able to upload the recall update using his cell phone, and that’s exactly what he did. He spent about an hour outside in the 97-degree heat, with no air conditioning, making sure the job got done. That’s dedication and outstanding customer service. The recall was for the ABS system, but whatever updates were performed also improved the way my truck runs. Before the update, my truck would typically operate between 222° and 226°F. Today, despite the extreme heat, it stayed between 200° and 206°F, with the highest temperature reaching only 207°F before dropping back down. I noticed the improvement immediately. A special thank you to Steve, my service advisor, for his professionalism and great communication throughout the process. I didn’t get the technician’s name, but please thank him as well.
