I spoke with Melanie at this dealership whom seemed very honest and genuine about the options they had for people who will take you if are on unemployment or not good credit etc. I explained to Melanie that we where in an very bad car accident in which we where hit by an hit an run driver that crushed the front end of our 2017 Equinox. I informed Melanie that I was only looking for a used car/suv under $5000. Melanie says that won’t be a problem because most dealership are not aware that a person can get up to 3 cars in Illinois even thought they have an active car loan with someone else. I said oh wow!! I didn’t know that. Melanie explained to my fiancé and I on the phone today that they have an separate financing of their own and it should be a problem and she will have the cars pulled out that are under $5000 when we arrive. I said ok cool... We will call you when we are on our way. We called Melanie at 3:30pm today to inform her we where on our way but the secretary stated to me that Melanie. So, fiancé and I arrive at the Ziegler dealership on 2501 Ogden Avenue. A gentleman comes out and introduces himself Juan Zambrano and we informed him that we are here to see Melanie. Juan asked us what type of car are we looking for and I stated to him just wanted a used car under $5000. Juan stated to us that they didn’t have any under $5000 and they only have cars $13,000 and above. My fiancé and I said wow!! That’s not what Melanie told us today. My fiancé and I repeated to Juan what Melanie stated to us. Then Juan asked me how much did I want to put down even though I already explained to Melanie what are budget was. I stated to Juan $0 to see if they can do what Melanie stated to us what they can do. Juan says oh! Ok I will be right back. Juan comes back 10 minutes later and asked me if you. Juan ask me to unlock my credit report and I sad sure. 20 minutes later Juan comes back and asked us about my current loan company etc and stated to him the old loan/account I have on my current car was bought by Santander. Juan leaves again and comes back 15 minutes and asked if we would be interested in a newer car that they have on their lot. And I said no and my fiancé asked what happened to the used 4 used cars Melanie said you guys had for us. Juan says we only have 2 of them and verbally stated to us the 2 used cars they had even though Juan has not showed us any used cars yet Melanie stated they had. Then Juan give a reference form to call to complete in which everyone knows they use it to track you down if you miss a payment. Lol! Juan leaves again and I get 10 or more alerts on my phone because Juan and his team are trying to find financing for me. I’m think wow! I stated to my wife I’m going to lose a lot points on my credit report because of this. 30 minutes goes by and Juan informs us that a financing company stated that we can’t get a used car without trading in the car that we just had an major accident in. Juan stated to me also that I needed a co-signer on a used car that’s under $5000. But I notice Juan didn’t ask me if I preferred to put down cash. At that moment I said to myself they got us because Melanie verbally sold us a dream that wasn’t true. This mean I can’t get the time back we wasted and I lost points on my credit score. I informed Juan I knew that already but Melanie got us out here so confused. But I guess they must get paid per person that comes through the door. Lol!! So, Juan gives us his business card to be professional even though he knows we are not coming back. All wanted was to pay cash on a used car and be on my way. But we wasted time I can’t get back and I lost points on my credit report. All and all the way Melanie set this up was unprofessional and she could have at least cake by to say hi or something. Lol! So please beware and be cautious of this business. Ziegler Remember in order continue to be successful in business, you have to show consumers that they are not just a number. Have a great day! I just purchased a brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee from this dealership. All I have to say is what a great group of sales guys. I spoke with Ken one of the sales guys last week and mentioned specifically w this dealership. All I have to say is what a great group of sales guys. I spoke with Ken one of the sales guys last week and mentioned specifically what I was looking for in Grand Cherokee. Ken was extremely helpful in finding the right Jeep for me. Alex is new to the sales team but he did a great job explaining everything about the car. Any kinds of questions I had even the little simple ones towards the sale and what I have to do on maintenance. Those guys were very thorough. I am very happy with my purchase and I plan to do future business with Zeigler in Downers Grove More

The interior of my car was full of rocks almost like if they took my truck on a jog ride. It’s my first time using a dealer and if that’s how they treat my truck just because it a recall. They said my front brakes were Rec. and they also Rec. an air filter. My air filter is brand new I had just replaced it. When I did my own oil change less then a month ago.. I was t told of any recommendations I know I had just brought it for recalls. But it would of been nice if they told me what they found. And I do keep track of miles before and after I do t know why you need to joy ride my truck when all the recalls had nothing to do with a joy ride. Very disappointed and will choose different dealer for service in future. More
We recently purchased a 2017 Dodge Durango GT. The salesman Mr. Donofrio was excellent in helping us including the rest of staff that were still present at closing time! Mr. Donofrio washed the vehicle himself and went above and beyond to help us. My only concerns are that we explained a few issues and haven’t heard back? I will email him with these concerns but also just found out the 2nd row right passenger seat belt does not retract properly? So not sure if this vehicle was inspected thoroughly but that is a concern if my child is sitting back there if seat belt is functioning properly and the front middle console is broken and informed Mr. Donofrio he said he will look into it and have not heard from him yet? More
