I asked them to adjust the parking brake on my 2105 jeep wrangler, as the arm needed to be pulled all the way up to do anything. They told me the parts inside the hub were "all messed up" and quoted $1400 t wrangler, as the arm needed to be pulled all the way up to do anything. They told me the parts inside the hub were "all messed up" and quoted $1400 to replace all the parts, including the backing plates, as it would also need to have the axles taken out to do the work. I took it to a local mechanic who took a look. Aside from some road grime, he said all the parts are fine. nothing broken or bent, he spent 5 minutes with some spray cleaner and turned the adjusting wheel, which was still at factory setting, and it works fine now, the pads had plenty of thickness, and no parts were broken or damaged. now the brake works with the lever slightly more than halfway up like it should. The kicker here is that I have 3rd party car repair coverage, so if these had been REAL needed repairs, the broken/damaged parts would have all been covered. My best guess is they didn't even try to get the work covered, as they knew the insurance would have known they were lying about the repairs needed. I won't even get into how they treated me when I tried to ask them directly about this before deciding to never go there again and writing this review. suffice to say they did not react well to my return visit.
