When I scheduled my appointment for recall work for 1:30p and I was told the repairs would take approx 2 hours from the time the vehicle got into the shop area. About 3 hours after drop off, I called to see and I was told the repairs would take approx 2 hours from the time the vehicle got into the shop area. About 3 hours after drop off, I called to see if they were close to finishing. The first team member could not locate my vehicle in the system. Put me on hold a few times and then asked for a description of my vehicle so he could search for it on the lot. He said he would call me back rather than keep me on hold. A few minutes later I received a call back from Mark letting me know the car was being worked on and may not be completed by the time the shop closes. He explained the situation and did clarify this particular recall repair takes 4-5 hours, without complications. He apologized for the miscommunication when I scheduled the appointment. Of course, there were complications with my repair and the team wanted to make sure things were done properly. Mark stated he would call me back in about an hour to let me know that if they would need to keep it overnight. I did get a call back confirming they will need to keep it overnight and would finish in the morning. It was completed by 9a And I picked up the vehicle without incident. While the repair time was much longer than anticipated, the team was great about keeping me in the loop and explaining the situation. Great communication by the team! More
