Told me I was holding them "hostage" over this review Went in on 1st of December to look at a new vehicle before I looked at another brand at a different dealer. Salesman was very knowledgeable and helpful. I had an altogether different experience with the sales manager however. He was high pressure and told me if we didn't do the deal before noon he couldn't give me the price listed on the website, even though the sale price said it was good until the 3rd. He also Insisted that we had to backdate the sale to November 30st. I had filled out my car buying service paperwork so I could get an extra .5 percent off my loan. I didn't know that backdating the paperwork would affect my loan rate, but apparently because the sale was on the "30th" and my car buying service was initiated on the 1st, I was no longer elegible for the loan discount. I contacted the sales manager to give him the opportunity to make this right before giving this review (the letter inviting me to give this survey told me to do this by the way), but unfortunately the sales manager decided that I was "holding him hostage over a review" I am deeply offended by the implication that I would hold anyone hostage over a revew. I was simply giving Patriot Ford the opportunity to make things right by me so I could give them a positive review. I am unable to recommend this dealer. More
