I came in to get my 2011 sierra serviced and saw James who is a long time friend and sold me my past 4 vehicls from this dealersip. He and I talked about the nw 2013 sierras ad said he would like to see a who is a long time friend and sold me my past 4 vehicls from this dealersip. He and I talked about the nw 2013 sierras ad said he would like to see abut a deal fo me. I told him to see what he could do n within an hourr so the paperwork was done. He called for Rusty and we walked the lot and I told him what tyle vehicle I liked and what acssories I preferred and he went out on the lt and picked excatly what I would buy. After the test rive it was a done deal! They installed the side steps for e, filled it up and also promised me a ca wash as it was about 12 degrees out and could not have been washed at that time. I have dealt with this dealership for years and will fo no where else. I have referred many friends to Jmes and this dealership to purchae new cars as well. I currently live in Ashland City and drive an hour just to keep my business here...they will have to go out of business for me to go anywhere else. More
I am a current graduate of Austin Peay State University and I have a limited budget. I told Josh this and he took me to the cars he thought would best fit my needs. I enjoyed the fact that he did not shove and I have a limited budget. I told Josh this and he took me to the cars he thought would best fit my needs. I enjoyed the fact that he did not shove brand new cars in my face. He was very professional and he made me feel comfortable. We did not find a car I like the first time I came but he continued to look for me and a week later called me to tell me he thought he had one I would like. I came in and he was right, I am now the proud owner of a Pontiac G6! I had a wonderful experience with wyatt-johnson and I tell everyone I know looking for a car to go there and ask for Josh Robinson. More
I am a soldier stationed at Fort Campbell, KY and I had visited this dealership a total of three times hoping to narrow my wife's decision on an SUV. We worked with Josh Robinson all three times, asking q visited this dealership a total of three times hoping to narrow my wife's decision on an SUV. We worked with Josh Robinson all three times, asking questions, talking about options, incentives, etc. On our third visit my wife and I went with Josh to talk about numbers and what it would cost while our trade in was being appraised. Josh almost seemed to have flipped a switch from the salesman we spoke to in the car lot to the salesman that was helping us with numbers. He almost became unresponsive as far as what my wife wanted as far as a monthly payment. I told him what my max payment a month would be and he went and spoke to the manager to see what we would get without money down with my trade-in. After returning, he said that our payment would be roughly $40 over my max monthly payment. So I went with the rule of the thumb that for every $1000 financed you spend $20 a month. So I said I would put down $2000 and Josh once again said " let me go see what you would have to put down to make your monthly payment mark." He returned saying that I would have to put down $5000 to make my mark. After I told him that was wrong and he agreed that it is $20/month for every $1000 financed he seemed to have given up on me because I didn't do what he wanted. He then asked me to run my credit to see exactly what I would get and I told him "no" because I wanted to agree on a final vehicle price before hand and then he completely shut off. It seemed like he didn't want to make a sale, at least not to me anyways. A couple days later, I received a phone call from the internet sales manager concerning my experience at the dealership. She asked me if I was upset about the value of my trade in and I told her that I understood why they gave me what they did. I expressed to her that the down payment they wanted me to pay was ridiculous and didn't seem to add up. She began to belittle me as far as explaining that "the more I put down, the lower my payment would be." (I believe this is common knowledge for most at least). I snapped back saying that I understood the math about the down payment. She then told me not to give her an attitude which threw me off because I was not trying to. I hung up the phone on her because she was being ridiculous and rude. - To my observation, the GMC dealership claims to be the best in Clarksville area only because of the military community surrounding the area and with soldiers returning from deployments. Places like these feed off the soldiers. Josh Robinson knew what I made with base pay, BAH, and BAS all off the top of his head. The sales people are rude and if you don't pay what they want you to pay they seem to not want to help you. It's almost like they would rather not sell a vehicle than cut money off of it. I just noticed that they had the most 2012s remaining all the lot compared to all the other dealerships I visited. (which was 4 by the way). I don't understand how you can be in the business of car sales and not want to bend over backwards to sell something. More
I ended up working with Danny Leavell who was the dealer's appraiser who had previously been working at their Mazda section down the road who sold me my 2007 Mazda 3. I had an incompetent sales rep w dealer's appraiser who had previously been working at their Mazda section down the road who sold me my 2007 Mazda 3. I had an incompetent sales rep who'd I rather not mention for his sake who couldn't tell me anything about the GMC Acadia let alone handle my test drive. He seemed very passive and nearly was the cause of me walking out the door until I saw Danny. Wyatt Johnson's Hyundai and Mazda Dealer down the road are very friendly, receptive, and helpful. I cannot say the same for the GMC / Buick section. When I traded in my 2005 Honda Pilot, they didn't care to receive my full 100% completed vehicle maintenance record. I Bought the Pilot brand new and had every service done on it and stamped off with the official Honda seal, still didn't care, come to find out, they tossed the maintenace manual that was up to date in the trash and put a blank, new one in the car. If I was buying this used Pilot I would have loved to have this maintenance book because it also would have told me how much the previous owner took care of it. Danny no longer works there so I cannot speak for the rest of the dealership but the finance office is somewhat unreachable, always have to leave a message and usually never get a call back, at least not in a day or two for that matter. The only thing I saw promising from this dealership is the vehicles they sold and their parts and service department. Those guys are great and prices are fair. The manager there, heavy set guy sat in his chair the entire time, looking out the window. After I bought the Acadia, he didn't even say thank you or hope you enjoy or nothing. He just looked at me and turned his head to look out the window. wow More
