False Advertisement We received a flyer via mail about a red and gray 2015 Volkswagen Passat, when we called and talked to someone named Jamie asking if they had this car We received a flyer via mail about a red and gray 2015 Volkswagen Passat, when we called and talked to someone named Jamie asking if they had this car in stock and if so we will be there in 2 hours, we were told it was in stock. When we got to to the dealership, we told the sales associate that we are looking for this specific car, we walked around the whole lot and he was showing us others cars and not the specific one we came for, in a way the sales associate was giving us a run around when he came to realization we were not interested in anything else, he told us to come inside and he will look at the inventory. When we came inside he told us the car was not there and when asked to speak to the general manager, she told us that they did not even have that specific car they had a 2014 black Volkswagen Passat and it was in for detailing and if they did have it, it must be at a different location when the flyer had this specific Joliet location and when asked to speak to Jamie, general manager said she left for the day. When we left the dealership and called from the car, Jamie was on the phone. When we told her that the GM said you left for the day she said I am part of finance the GM may not know and when we asked about the 2015 Volkswagen Passat she said it was sold. So, we were lied to about having the red and gray 2015 Volkswagen Passat and also got lied to about the lady Jamie being gone for the day. The worst experience I have in the last 30 years. I have come across few crook ones but this dealership gets the gold medal in deception and false advertising. Good luck to future customers. Imagine if the GM and team can lie to get you in, what else can they deceive you with lies.. More

A mixed experience UPDATED - see below. Purchased a used 2016 Kia minivan here. Our salesperson, DeMario Ash, was very friendly and helpful, and went out of his way (eve UPDATED - see below. Purchased a used 2016 Kia minivan here. Our salesperson, DeMario Ash, was very friendly and helpful, and went out of his way (even coming in on his day off) to work with our crazy schedules and make sure we were able to get our purchase completed. The problem is with how the transaction was completed. It took a full week between when we made contact with the dealership and when we completed our purchase, due to our own schedule conflicts. We scheduled a test drive for my husband to look at the van, and he thought it was the right one for us, so he put down a deposit. The van was dirty on the inside, but they promised they would clean it. A few days later, I came in for a test drive, and the van was still dirty inside (sand in the seats, spilled soda on the cupholders, food crumbs on the floor, dog hair, etc.) and they promised they would clean it. The bank was closed so we couldn't finish the deal, but came back 3 days later to do paperwork. You guessed it... still dirty. Took an hour after we finished paperwork for the van to be ready. We asked for a quote on a trade-in and they gave us an extremely lowball offer - I had checked blue book values prior to coming in, so I had an idea of the range to expect. They didn't come close. We sold our vehicle to another dealership for $3,500 more than what World Kia offered. After we finished paperwork, and after my husband waited an hour for the van to be cleaned, they told him there was only one key available. This would have been useful information before we completed the deal, since these keys are expensive and a pain in the butt to make. They say they didn't receive two when they bought the vehicle. That's unfortunate, but... we bought a used 2016 Kia. From a Kia dealership. With a parts department that makes Kia keys. This seems like a really easy fix. We dealt with some other annoyances (like requesting to buy touch-up paint which never happened either, and a LOT of pressure to write some online reviews), but the icing on the cake was when my husband finally got the van, it had no gas. They gave it to us on fumes. He filled the 20 gallon tank and had to put in 19.9 gallons. UPDATE: after I posted this review, DeMario and Yedi both reached out the same day to address our concerns. They are now in the process of making things right by detailing the van, and providing the second key and the touch-up paint. Although it would have saved a lot of hassle for both sides if this would have gone better from the beginning, I'm glad we are being taken care of now. More

The salesman Dimario was great but the manager was a complete jerk in many ways. He totally ignored the quote they provided by $1500. In fact the price kept going up as we were negotiating. Spent two hours trying to figure out how to buy a Sorento from them, they just weren't interested in selling that day. Also, do not start out by giving them all your personal information before negotiating the price, that was a complete waste of an hour before we even got started. Wasted 2 hour at World Kia, then went to WIllowBrook Kia, they started from the quote they sent me gave a fair trade and we were out the door with a new Sorento in 2 hours. Hard to believe that there is such a difference between two Kia dealerships. Don't waste your time at World Kia, manager there is a jerk, go somewhere where the quotes they send mean something. More

After moving to this area, I took my car in for an oil change and a diagnosis of a "check engine" light. I was told it would cost thousands of dollars to diagnose the problem and it might be better to just buy a new engine for $4200.00. I left after an oil change which actually solved the problem. I want back to my old neighborhood and previous dealer and was told it was a minor problem and 99% of the time was in fact solved by an oil change. I wrote to the general mgr. and the service mgr. and didn't even receive the courtesy of a response. More

Beware when they tell you they are going to put an oil change sticker on your vehicle. I was surprised to find a huge banner sticker that says World Kia Joliet .com all across the back window of my new car. I was never told this is the sticker they were putting on. If I take it off I will loose my oil change program. This is ridiculous. Nowhere in my paperwork states that I have to have the sticker on. Now I'm pretty much a driving advertisement for this terrible company!!!!! More
