Sold me a car without the title I bought the car on May 5th and they gave me a temporary plate. Apparently they never had the title..and still don't. My plate expired over a week ago I bought the car on May 5th and they gave me a temporary plate. Apparently they never had the title..and still don't. My plate expired over a week ago. The only reason I found out there was a problem was because I called asking about it. They didn't try to solve the issue until I started calling about it. Now they keep giving me the same answer of "I think we'll get it on *this* day". Their customer service is terrible. I will file a complaint with the Secretary State Police tomorrow if they still don't have it. (I can't get plates for my car!!) More

I was told I was approved and that no money was needed to be put down. When I get there they tell me that I need $1500.00 with a 700 or 800 car payment are you kidding me. So I waited for about 30 minutes for the sales guy to come back and walked out...I was then called and asked where did I go I told them i was no longer interested. Joe begged me to come back so I did just to listen to what he had to say...when I arrived back, he had a car waiting for me to test drive which I did not want but I drove it anyway. So after 4 hours of going back and forth, Sam came over and said if you put $500.00 down I can get you as a first time buyer with KIA so I decided to do it. After have the car for 9 days, they call me to tell me that the loan was not approved with Kia and that I needed to sign papers with a new lender so I as I asked did I need to bring anything and was told no just needed to resign. I was told I needed to be there on that day or the loan was dead. So when I arrived, Aaron asks if I was explained anything which I was not just threatening texts from Sharks chicken which is Sams cell phone number...he explains that I need to put another $1000.00 down which I did not have so I gave him another $200.00. I told him that I get paid the following week and he could withdraw it then well they decided to take it on that same week and the cc declined. I then receive texts from Sam telling me if I did not pay they would come and get the car. (or I needed to borrow it from someone). I told him I would do an EFT with no response. The following day while at work, I get called by the receptionist that someone is there to pick up the car. I go out and talk to "Brian" and he tells me he is here to help me not hurt me. He said I don't have a tow truck so I am not taking it. I am required to put a GPS tracking device in it or I need to pick the car up. Of course the stupid person I am I said tracking device. He had me sign a form and told me the car would be back in 45 minutes well it never came back,,,,the dealership repoed the car! when i called to inquire about no one knew anything and I was going to call the police. They charged 18% interest to a first time buyer with a 700 plus credit score, sold them an over priced warranty and never gave them the paperwork. Ran their credit through 11 banks, and did NOT give the customer the best available interest rate. Instead, they sold them the vehicle at an extremely high rate. The car has a serious alignment issue and 2 bald tires. When I attempted to confront the dealership in person I was told the GM was not available (nor did she subsequently ever return my calls). I spoke to the "new car manager" who basically admitted the purchaser was eligable for a better interest rate but "took the deal" at 18% and told me "there is nothing you are going to be able to do about it now the deal has been funded". In my opinion they took advantage of a young, nieve first time buyer and in my opinion their actions may even be a violation of some sort of law or policy. Which I am currently looking into. When I told the "new car manager" that I would be contacting Federal and State agencies with regard to this deal, he told me "I was threatening him and I should not make threats because he is friends with a state offical (whom he named). Note: after leaving this dealership we found out that the applicant was eligible for a 1.5% car loan and eligible through a 2nd bank for an interest rate under 5% - both of which KIA previously ran her credit through and I speculate was aware of. Yet she was charged 18%!!! More
