We had a great experience when we bought our Telluride from World Kia Joliet on 11/28/2020. The team (Tim, Soto and Joe the finance guy) made me feel at home and we walked away with the car my wife wanted from World Kia Joliet on 11/28/2020. The team (Tim, Soto and Joe the finance guy) made me feel at home and we walked away with the car my wife wanted. Unfortunately, this great experience has turned extremely sour ever since. We recently received an i-Pass notification for some toll violations from 12/18/2020 as someone is using our trade-in or our old plates and I do not understand why. When signing all the legal documents with Joe (finance officer) I was told by Joe that we would get new plates for our new car. So I asked to step away to get our old plates from our trade-in and was told that there was no need to get my hands dirty as they would shred the old plates for me. Thinking back, I should have known better, but again "the team" truly made me feel at home so I trusted them to do as they said and shred our old plates. At this point, I have called World Kia Joliet for 5 days consecutively (1/28/2021 - 2/2/2021) at different times in the day and even multiple times per day requesting two things. 1. A copy of a document to submit to the DMV and i-Pass to prove that I am no longer the owner of the vehicle nor plates 2. An opportunity to talk to the general manager (Camille) to make sure this doesn't happen to another customer ever again. Yet today on 2/2/2021 I sit here having to write this complaint to make sure people are aware of the type of customer service World Kia Joliet in IL. and their general manager (Camille) has provided me after they sold a car to us. A big shout out to all the receptionists who had to endure my calls (Misty and Valerie) on a daily basis who have been nothing, but respectful, understanding and super sweet and Emily the manager at the service department who took care of us when adding some accessories to our new vehicle. I called the Kia Corporate Office to make a formal complaint, will post this review everywhere I can (including the Better Business Bureau), contact the World Kia Joliet Owner directly and will continue to call everyday until the general manager (Camille Wright) is able to provide my simple requests. At this point, I want to know where our plates are and since I know they were not shredded I want them back as I cannot trust anything else this Kia dealership has to say to me. I hope to get this resolved right away. More
