Jason was my salesman and I was already frustrated by the time he introduced himself. I made an appointment to come to the dealership at the insistence of Rachel who just ensured I’d (1) leave with a car I l time he introduced himself. (2) have a great car purchasing experience, which was false. I set an appointment with Rachel only to be told once I reach the dealership she was the finance consultant and she doesn’t meet the customers or make the sale of an automobile. Jason approaches me 15 minutes after I’ve waited and 15 behind my appointment time. He informs me I’ll be working with him. He wasn’t transparent with the process, he walked away several times without saying a word and it really left a bad taste in my mouth mid experience. So much so I went and mentioned it to the sales manager. She assured me she would speak to Jason. I decided on a vehicle that was not the brand of car that the dealership is named after. Jason knew nothing about the car. He was compensating by verbally informing me of all the bells and whistles the car had ie navigation, low miles, leather, sunroof, etc. Come on guys if your going to take cars on trade that are from a different brand learn the product you plan to resale. The sales team is to large to for them not be assigned or designated certain trade cars they get to learn them in order to provide a prospective buyer with facts on the vehicle. As the sale was wrapping up the sales manager came over and after asking the financing bank and interest rate she told me different information than what I received from Rachel. By the time I signed the finance paperwork the bank and interest rate was different again. I blame myself if I signed paperwork allowing the dealership to rerun my credit after I had already been approved by a lender prior, online according to Rachel before physically coming into the dealership. However, by the time things were signed and done. My credit had been run a total of 4 times and quotes from three different banks were rendered. As the car was given to me the evening of purchase the tire pressure light and maintenance soon light we’re both on. Jason, probably being tired and ready to go home because the dealership was closed told me to drive it and the tire pressure light should go off. I also knew the light more than likely wouldn’t go off. I’ve owned luxury cars in the past and the light has to be reset if the issue is resolved. For the two lights on I ended up making a service appointment shortly after to take care of that. Which they did. The service department is amazing, I mean communicative, welcoming, informative, and overall rendered a positive resolution. The day after I bought the car I called 3 times and left 2 sets of messages for the sales manager and finance gentleman. Neither of them ever called back to this day. I also called the day after and again they were busy assisting customers and never called back. I never received a follow up call on how I like the car or how it’s doing or anything. Lastly although I am happy with my vehicle and learned a lot from my local brand dealer about the car (not World Kia) I will not recommend you buy a car from here. There other dealers that will treat you and your time better. Btw at the instance and almost cancellation of my appointment Rachel convinced me to drive from the north east of the city of Chicago to Joliet for an experience I never received. Every employee was professional but didn’t acknowledge the customer/ my time and wasn’t transparent about their process. Oh Diane, one of the sales managers is really really awesome. She is informative, personable, and sweet. More
Actually, this place should recieve ZERO stars!!! We went in there, Leary as it was, because my BFF had purchased a car there 2 yeats ago and it was supposed to have had been checked, only to find out she ne in there, Leary as it was, because my BFF had purchased a car there 2 yeats ago and it was supposed to have had been checked, only to find out she needed a tire change and underneath the spare tire were over 20 spent billet casings, the tow truck driver said he wouldn't even touch anything on that car. Nonetheless, gave it a 2nd try and it was the MOST HORRIFYING experience, purchased the car beginning of March and plates are about to expire. Called and spoke to Brent and he said police are not pulling anyone over for expired plates, as if is the police patrol. Before that, Pierre said they were going to deliver the car, the following day after we signed papers, we called everyday and could not get thru to ANYONE, to let us know what was going on with the car. These people are very unprofessional, Brent even yelled at my BFF over the phone and said someone would get back to us. After a whole week of nothing, we decided to go out there, from Indiana, mind you and all of a sudden they were on their way with the car, what a joke. We got there, the car was clean and NOW after speaking with the bank, they don't have any paperwork on neither us or the car. AND the BMV has said they have NOT received any paperwork for the car. I am outraged at how they treated us, I say US, because I am thee cosigner. OHH and coincidentally, they ask you to make a review before even leaving the dealership, you're put on the spot, they pull up screen and ask you to please explain your experience with them. Well, this is thee most HONEST review to leave, they are a horrible place to do business with. They do go out of their way to get you in a car and then you're left on your own to figure out ther rest. They lied, Pierre said they had set up everything, so that we could walk into BMV, pay for plates and go. WELL guess what?!?! Another lie!! And whenever they do respond, it's a pacifying answer to just shut you up. I have reported them to BBB and will continue to discourage people from doing business with these lying unprofessional embeciles!!! More
