My 2020 Kia Soul is currently at the Joliet World Kia service department due to a breakdown on the expressway last Saturday, March 9th. Despite being under warranty, I received no updates by the followin service department due to a breakdown on the expressway last Saturday, March 9th. Despite being under warranty, I received no updates by the following Monday. Concerned, I called on Tuesday, March 12th, only to discover that my car's transmission had failed and requires replacement. However, I was denied a rental as another department needed to confirm the warranty coverage. Since then, despite multiple calls, I've received no further updates. Each time I call, I'm given the same information about the transmission needing replacement and the rental pending confirmation. On Thursday, March 14th, frustrated by the lack of progress, I requested to speak directly with the service department. Unfortunately, the person who answered seemed distracted and disinterested, even laughing when I inquired about my options. This treatment is completely unacceptable given the seriousness of my situation. My car broke down on a busy expressway, leaving me unable to work for a week. As of March 15th, I still haven't received any new updates or been provided with a rental, despite the clear terms of my warranty. This situation is deeply frustrating and I expect prompt resolution from World Kia of Joliet. More
