Where do I start. Bought a 2017 Kia Niro at a different dealer. When I arrived home I noticed it was leaking oil. I bought the car 60 miles from where I live so I deci Bought a 2017 Kia Niro at a different dealer. When I arrived home I noticed it was leaking oil. I bought the car 60 miles from where I live so I decided to take it to World Kia, which is 5 minutes from my house. They told me who ever changed the oil last caused the leak and they said they fixed it. Well they must have not noticed it only had a few hundred miles on it and the oil was not yet changed. Anyway the oil leak was not even fixed and I ended up taking it back to where I bought it. They explained it was a Kia error from the factory and they fixed it. So even though World Kia is 5 minutes from my house I never went back. Well until now. Six years later. My check engine light is on preventing me from getting the emissions test. My regular mechanic pulled the code and replaced the part that was needed but the check engine light re-appeared. He said you should probably take it to Kia. So I made an appointment with World Kia because it was the closed dealer to me. My appointment was for Thursday May 4, 2023 at 10am. I received a text earlier in the week confirming the appointment. When I arrived I was told it will probably take 2 hours. I waited all day and no call. So I called on Friday. I was first told by Ahmed that someone replaced a bunch of wiring and they needed more time. When I said no wiring was ever replaced and which wiring was he referring to? He then changed his story to well since you did not have an appointment we need more time. I said I did have an appointment but he said he did not have it in his schedule? He said he would get it done on Friday. Friday came and went and again no call. I called Saturday morning and he said hopefully they will get to it next week. I said so what was the appointment for? He said if you made it online, it doesn't count. At this point I just wanted to pick my car up and go somewhere else. When I arrived at the dealership he gave me keys to someone else's car ? Then had to wait ten minutes while he tried to find my keys. Then he said there is no charge because they had not looked at it yet? PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. They have no clue what they are doing. More
I Came in today with a few days left on my lease because I had been dreading the whole process after having a bad experience at another location. However, todays experience was so much better.
