First of all, when we took the test drive, Bill Trover didn't say much at all for the first few minutes. Later he asked us numerous times, "Do you like the car?" but didn't give us much information unless we specifically asked. The next day, as I worked out the auto loan with our credit union, the finance office person was huffy and made snarky comments when I asked Bill to re-type the invoice to reflect the correct information. I could hear her in the background asking (in an aggravated tone), "What do they want now?" When we went to pick up the car to take possession, Bill said, "Oh, by the way, did I tell you there's only one key?" Uh, no. You didn't. Bill also didn't mention that it's $50 to get a second ignition key made! To add insult to injury, a week later when my husband tried to use the CD player, he realized that there was a CD jammed in it. We pushed the 'Eject' button on the test drive and it said 'No CD'. Well that wasn't the case. I don't remember the Finance guy's name, but he was helpful. We were beyond aggravated by the time we got to him. He even followed up and sent our license plate through the mail. (We live in Bear, approx. an hour from Dover.) I can understand why Winner Dover only has one other rating on this site - I'm sure they don't want others to know how poor their service is. More

I After researching prices for 2011 Ford Mustangs on the internet,I was contacted by Winner Automotive Group Internet Consultant, Ms. Shana Snowden. I was provided with a price for a 2011 Ford Mustang Coupe (yellow with black interior) that was at the Winner Ford (Dover) dealership. I agreed to the price and told her I would be in the next morning to get the car. I arrived the next day at Winner Ford (Dover) and contacted the Sales Manager (Gene), as instructed in the e-mail with the price quote. I drove the vehicle with my daughter and she agreed to purchase the vehicle for the price quoted. After the typical salesman / sales manager back and fourth they refused to sell me the vehicle at the price their internet sales manager quoted me (in writing!!) through an e-mail I had in my hand. They told me multiple stories(i.e., Gene never talked to her, then Gene did talk to her but the quote was for a 2010 red and black Mustang, etc.). Eventually, the salesperson handed me a postcard with the company President's face and telephone number on it and told me to call him if I had any complaints. I called him from the dealership, but imagine that, he wasn't available. After several telephone calls and transfers from one office to another, I spoke to someone the dealership salesperson told me was their General Manager. After expalining the situation and faxing him the email with the quote that their representative sent to me I was told that they would not honor the price quoted because they would lose money on the deal. For those customers who receive a price quote from Winner Automotive Group and especially Winner Ford, please do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. The frustration level was unbelievable and it was the obvious "Bait and Switch" deal. These are not reputable people. Jim Hosfelt Dover, Delaware More
