Wonderful experience. Thanks sales rep Michael for getting me into a reliable vehicle. You took your time to listen my needs and concerns I had based on my credit history. You never gave up, even wh getting me into a reliable vehicle. You took your time to listen my needs and concerns I had based on my credit history. You never gave up, even when I felt like throwing in the towel. It was a stressful few days but all well worth it at the end. Thank you More

My wife and I seen a vehicle on line we were interested in, so we went to dealership to test drive. First I want to point out all the difference prices we seen, on this car. Online in the picture it 17,900, in the ad online it was 15,500, we got to the dealership it was marked 19,900, that should have been enough to tell us something was wrong. So I drove the car, liked it right away, and went back inside to close the deal with Velma Luke my sales person. I told her about the price on line she said no problem, let me get some information and I'll take it over to the sales manager to work up the numbers. Now I want again to point out she did not want to take an application, just wanted to know if I knew my credit score. I told her it was around 760. So she went to the sales manager, was away for about 10 min., when she returned she said the manger would be over to discuss the payments. I said to her you haven't even taken an application. At that moment he came over introduced himself, and told me no problem with the price, I would be getting the car for 15,500. Then he said if you finance for 72 months and put 2000. down your payments would be 360, if you want just 60 months with 4000 down we can bring that down to 320.00 a month. I looked at him as if he was crazy, in this last example I would be paying over 19,000 for a car that I started with a 11,000. balance. When I pushed back, he said this was just an example, we take our average customer rates and mind might be better. I'll leave it to you, does that make any since??? If I told you I had a 760 score, why would you give me the worst sernaro. Botton line someone was trying to give me the bait and it I had taken it, Winner Ford would have made so good money off me.This was so unbelievable I just got up and walked out. However on my way out the door, the service manager had the nerve to come over and stop me and said he could get me 3.99% and show me what my payments would be, if it was 0% I wouldn't buy from them.I will continue to tell as many people about this place as I can, and if you are smart don't think twice about dealing with these people. By the way I brought another car, got 1.99% on a used 2012 and its amazing, when I sit down at the dealers desk, he put everything in the computer right in front of me. Please take this seriously don't buy a car from Winner Ford. I wish I could remember the sales mangers name, but I can't. More

Sa Basic synopsis of my experience: Fri September 28th – Vehicle purchased and I trade in a vehicle. I drive home, three hours away from dealership. Sat September 29th afternoon – O/D OFF light blinks at low speeds, after engine cooled, transmission fluid checked, levels good. Called dealership about missing running boards, informed they were removed because they were broken, no answer as to why they were advertised after being removed. Sun September 30th – Driving appx 7 miles, light on again Mon October 1st – Checked manual, needs to be taken to repair shop Wed October 3rd – Called my local transmission shop about problem, told to bring in vehicle in at 4 the next day Thur October 4th – Shop checks vehicle codes, too many codes to work through, reset codes and asked to bring again on Monday, because they would not have time on Friday, to do an in depth diagnostic. Said not to drive because it was probably going to give out at any point Mon October 8th – The shop informs that the transmission is probably going to need rebuilt or replaced. Professional opinion is that transmission is junk. Immediately called Winner and spoke with Trent. Explained situation, Trent said he would check records of vehicle and call back within 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, called again, told we would get a call back in 15 minutes, repeat every 30 minutes until after 5 pm. Finally I was told that service closed without getting information. Trent said he would get us information the next day. Tue October 9th – I called Trent in the morning. Told we would get a tow truck and a loaner vehicle while the shop was working on the expedition, would let us know when he would send both. By afternoon, no information, asked Trent again, he said by that night or the next day. Wed October 10th – I called Trent in morning. Told that the GM would not send tow truck or loaner because we bought truck “As-is”. Trent said he would speak with the GM again and try to change his mind. No answers throughout the day, so I finally called and spoke with CW. After explaining to CW, he said he would speak with the GM and let us know what to expect. Shortly after, GM called us and said that he would not send loaner or tow truck. He said he would be willing to work out a small deal to give us free labor and possibly pay for a minor repair if we got the vehicle to him. He said if the transmission needs replaced he would not pay for that and we would have to work out a different arrangement. I told him to let me think about it and called him back 10 minutes later. I asked if I could take it to a local shop and have him pay for $500 of the bill. He agreed, but when I asked him to send me an email repeated what we spoke about, he said that he would only look at the final bill and do what he thought was ok. Said the same information in email, would only do what he thought was ok. Thur October 11th – Took vehicle to my transmission shop for complete workup having accepted that we were not going to receive little help if any for the vehicle problems. Sat October 13th – Received a call from Trent asking if the situation had been resolved. I told him that it had been taken care or, but not in a way that was satisfactory to me. He informed me that he spoke with the service manager, Holly, who told him the vehicle had a “laundry list of problems,” that it was a “wholesale vehicle,” and that it should have “never been sold.” He then informed me that he had been fired from the dealership for continuing to argue with the GM about doing the right thing and sending me a loaner vehicle and fixing the vehicle since they should have not sold it to me. I asked Trent that I would be contacting a lawyer and asked him to send me a signed letter detailing everything that happened. He agreed and said that he was upset that I was sold the vehicle and that the dealership should have not sold that vehicle to anyone. I sent him a text with my email address and he sent me a text saying not to tip off the company or they would shred all the documents. October 15th, -I called Michael Hydnsky, the president of the company, and he said he would look into the situation and get back to me. I was told that Trent, the used car manager, lied to me about the vehicle being wholesale. I was also told that they would take back the vehicle and “undo the paperwork if they still had our trade in.” But since they said it had been sold, I needed to give them time to “make it right” and sell us a different vehicle within an allotted time period. I agreed to these terms. I sent CW my qualifications for a vehicle and stayed in a rental vehicle for the next week. No vehicle came available and I was still in possession of the vehicle with the bad transmission. By October 24, I called and stated that the situation needed to be resolved. Interestingly enough, they now said they had not sold my previous vehicle that I had traded in and that we could essentially hit rewind, undo the paperwork, and be done with the issue. They said I needed to get the vehicle to them so on the evening of the 24th; I drove the vehicle to them. During paperwork, I was informed, by way of listing monies owed, that I was buying the trade in back from them. This was never disclosed to me, nor was it agreed upon. I was then told that if I did not sign the paperwork, making me owe them 1500 dollars MORE for the same vehicle, I had to walk out the door with the bad transmission. Knowing there was no way I could make the 3 hour drive with the vehicle in question; I was forced to sign the paperwork. Fast forward three months and the dealership still have not registered my vehicle with the state of Virginia. In late December, I was overnighted new temp tags, giving them another month to handle it. Once again in late January, I had to be overnighted another set of tags as the registration still had not been completed. In mid February, I find out that I need to get an emissions and inspection done for the tags to be complete and that I was to do that then the tags could be completed. On Feb 8, I completed both steps and called the dealership over the next week. I find out on Feb 21, the day before my current set of temp tags expire, that the dealership will not be filing the registration paperwork and that I have to go the DMV to handle the situation. So I go to the DMV and am informed that I need to have the title to complete the paperwork. As I have a loan on the paperwork, I do not have a title in my possession. Winner Ford is completely dishonest and does not care about the customer at all. Bottom line is that they performed a bait and switch after selling us an unsafe vehicle, then failed to follow through on work we paid them to do on a vehicle we previously owned! The situation is not resolved and we are still dealing with this five months after the initial purchase/trade in. Avoid this dealership at all costs lest you desire to be taken advantage of, lied to, and have incomplete work done to complete a deal. I absolutely do not recommend this company to anyone. More
Neverending Lies, Interest rate bumped to the highest and told us it was bought rate, price was higher then agreeded upon and even advertised online. One car went from just over $16k to over $19k then the told us it was bought rate, price was higher then agreeded upon and even advertised online. One car went from just over $16k to over $19k then the car they must have wanted to pawn off on us had a extra $1k added on for no reason other then the internet and salesmean where wrong according to salesmanager. We were told the old line we are only making $100. on this deal just to help us out. Now think about it how could a dealership make money if they only made $100 on the amount of cars they sold in the month. On a side note I used to sell cars. Plus may I point out they had back end or dealer holdback. On top of this we were a repeat customer only bc we totalled the first car a few months ago we purchased. The GAP insurance they sold us has not even paid off the car that was totalled on November 7 2012 and here it is february 16, 2013. They were no help no have they been with the policy they sold. The only help they have been was trying to help us find a new car at a price to make up for this. When they were as they said called out on the price change the sales manager David became very rude and basically treated us like he wanted us to think we were stuck with them or no car. Thankfully they lied so much we shopped elsewhere. We saved over 2 points on financing even tho they told us it was buy rate from the SAME bank same term. We ended up saving thousands on selling price and interest. It pays to shop around. I will never return to their dealership again. More

I ask about the truck and he went around an brought it up for me to see,we took it on a test drive he answered questions I had and gave me more info that I didnt even think about.when it came down to trade and numbers he went to bat for me an got the payments where I wanted them to be.What really reeled me in was that there was no pressure at any time, friendly atmosphere, clean dealership. I have been a Dodge guy for awhile but after the experiance I had at Winner Ford in Dover I will be driving fords from now on. Its good to know that there are still some great dealers out there an now I have found mine. More
I came in to Winner looking for a similar car to my Ford 500. I wanted a sedan with the same features and all wheel drive. The salesman, Garrett, told me about the Ford Fusion. He pointed out that it wo 500. I wanted a sedan with the same features and all wheel drive. The salesman, Garrett, told me about the Ford Fusion. He pointed out that it would have the features that I was looking for, and at the price that would fit my budget. Garrett even got me a new set of window guards for my car. The manager, CW, made the payments fit my budget, and even helped me sign up for a 7 year service plan. This will make my life easier, and I got into a new car that I can afford on my fixed income. I will be back for my next new car, and I'll ask for Garrett and CW. More
