I was told next day pickup but wasn’t ready. It wasn’t ready till end of day the following day. In total I left the car for 2.5 days. Good thing I have a spare car. Automated phone system is not good. Call in message informed me that I was the 2nd caller and estimated wait time was 5 minutes. After being told this multiple times after about 20-30 minutes I got connected. It rang several times and got connected to v/m. Hung up and immediately called back and got same message of being 2nd caller with wait time of 5 minutes. After another 20 minutes got service provider who informed that at about 4:30pm car was not ready and would need to be left another day thus total 2.5 days in the shop (picked up at about 4:30p). I opted for the “preferred “ service package which was the premium package. Car is running very well, practically like new. Battery on service check list was marked good but is turning over on start sequence a bit slow since pickup. Will likely replace at Costco if needed. Otherwise so far so good following servicing. Just automated phone system needs revamping. Not cool to be told 5 minute wait and after 30 minutes go to v/m, More
I've had my car serviced at Windward Ford of Hawaii since obtaining my 2019 Ford Edge SEL in April 2024. Since I need to keep up with the maintenance of my vehicle specifically for the components that I can obtaining my 2019 Ford Edge SEL in April 2024. Since I need to keep up with the maintenance of my vehicle specifically for the components that I cannot repair or work on myself (i.e. transmission servicing and electronics). Windward Ford of Hawaii's Service Advisors and mechanics are great. I would rate the entire experience a 5, but unfortunately, the staff that supports the Service Advisor and mechanics are unable to predict or anticipate length or amount of time mechanics working on the vehicles. It doesn't take the entire day (quoted to complete in 3 and half hours) to accomplish a complimentary vehicle inspection, an oil change and a tire rotation when you have a scheduled appointment. Any problems identified outside of the required service(s) and other than what was initially requested, should be discussed with the owner and documented on the invoice. Such as the lug nuts ornamental dressing that was found to be swollen and separating, which I denied to have replaced since I already have a new set of acorn lug nuts. Other than these minor issues, I am more than satisfied with the service and experience at Windward Ford of Hawaii. More
