Tom's Escape Repair ABS Warning Light came on--called Honolulu Ford--my usual service location: but they said no, not for 3 days. As usual, the warning light went off on the way there, but they were still able to diagnose the problem, discovered 2 items that needed replacing--luckily under warranty--and ordered the parts: the parts came in very fast. very good customer focus and service. Oil Pan I have been having my oil changed on my ford Fusion since I purchased vehicle at Windward Ford. I took out an extended maintenance. The last oil cha I have been having my oil changed on my ford Fusion since I purchased vehicle at Windward Ford. I took out an extended maintenance. The last oil change on October 17 2017 which was at my own expense resulted in an inspection that resulted in this "Vehicle had a self-tapping drain plug upon arrival. May need to replace oil pan at next oil change service $722.00 to replace engine oil pan. " Since the oil has been changed by Windward Ford since purchase I feel that a mistake was made at Windward Ford and that this is not my responsibility. I feel because I am a woman they think that they can try and get as much business our of me because of that. I have since checked with other mechanics and find out that the oil pan does not need replacing they can fix this problem in another manner.. Thus I will not return to Windward Ford for maintenance not purchase of new vehicle. I am awaiting the replacement of the Passenger Air Bag which has now been a long time overdue. Even though I was delayed by not knowing the route Lililike highway, they were kind enough to help me get to the shop and they took me to my doctor;s appointment, My car was taken care of and cleane Lililike highway, they were kind enough to help me get to the shop and they took me to my doctor;s appointment, My car was taken care of and cleaned and I was able to drive home before the afternoon rush of cars going home. Top tier service This is the 2nd time I've brought my Mustang in to Windward Ford's service center. The 1st time was when I moved to Oahu in January, where I just want This is the 2nd time I've brought my Mustang in to Windward Ford's service center. The 1st time was when I moved to Oahu in January, where I just wanted them to give the car a "going over" inspection. This time, my car was overheating, the low tire pressure light was on, and I also wanted a multi-point inspection and to replace my passenger side airbag. Booth times, the guys were professional and courteous. They made me felt welcome the whole time, and did excellent work. I really appreciate knowing that I can go there any time for my car's needs and be in good hands. While I don't like paying full price for work purely out of societal noise, the quality and value I get makes it well worth every cent. More
