Left a bit disappointed. Would not return 2014 Transit Connect with ABS light, traction control light, and speedometer malfunction. I have the extended warranty, was advised that if it was a w 2014 Transit Connect with ABS light, traction control light, and speedometer malfunction. I have the extended warranty, was advised that if it was a warranty repair I would be responsible for the deductible. If not covered, I’d be responsible for the $174 diagnostic. Fine, I understand. Apparently I missed the sign that informs you about the 8% shop fee, max $25. Service manager called an hour or so later to inform me that a wheel speed sensor had come loose. The tech inspected, reinstalled, and test drove. Everything reported as functional. When I went to pay, I inquired about the extra $13 charge. I was informed that it was the shop fee, for hazardous material disposal, special tools, etc. I indicated that I was not happy with the additional charge, and the service manager shrugged, mumbled about the special tools, and pointed up to the sign above his head. I indicated that I would have been happier if it had appeared on the quote paperwork I had signed. Overall, just an “ok” experience. They did wash the van, which was nice. I’m not sure I would return for service. More
