Rip off with their outrageous dealer fees Scott Henderson was my salesman he comes across as being very nice and helpful and I'll have to say he is patient. The vehicle I purchased was not the Scott Henderson was my salesman he comes across as being very nice and helpful and I'll have to say he is patient. The vehicle I purchased was not the vehicle that I went to actually test drive or I would have research that particular car. We agreed on a price of 14600 but it actually came out to 17168, 958 of that was of course the expected DMV fees that left almost $1,700 in stupid dealer fees, which is outrageous. I should have walked away but I love the car and wasn't thinking clearly. Scott also told me to come back to get a replacement battery, which I did but he did not give me a replacement, all they did was tighten the bolt. He also said that he'd fill up the car if gas but he didn't. They will rip you off big-time. Again, I know that this was partially my fault because I went ahead and bought the car anyway but realized after I got home that it was actually listed for even less than what we agreed on on the internet. Don't trust these people at all at this dealership.I didn't need financing either so I don't understand why they did a credit report when I wasn't borrowing any money... More

After a long commute, did the test drive. They have added extra fees other than the dealer & DMV. $500 for shipping & $600 for multi point inspection. I told them that I am not paying for shipping neither an inspection that they did not even do. After a long back & forth including walking out of the dealership twice they have chased me & agreed to wave those fees. Finally, they brought me a credit check report form to fill with my information, social security & signature. I have asked them why should I fill this form, answers were: We will not run your credit, this is in order to pay your taxes for the DMV, this is the only form we have & this is according to criminal act of VA. Refused to sign it, they brought their big buss finally, start to yell and curse the F word, asked them to let me go. Wasted my time, this place is a scam avoid them. More

They assured us IN WRITING (per my request), and then when we came over with the money, the salesman ("Wally", who is the typical used car salesman personified), told my husband that would not be possible. BUYER BEWARE On 3/20 I reached out to A1 Auto in regards to a 2005 Nissan Murano, I was told on the phone by Katie Johnson that the price was $4,995. After days of "repairs" and "inspections" we arrive to purchase the vehicle on 3/23. We met with Christa Pellott. Christa avoided showing us a price break down of the deal. When she finally did the sales price of the vehicle was changed to $6,995. Christa claimed the $2,000 extra was what the finance company (Credit Acceptance Corporation) decided the price of the car should be. I wasn't comfortable with that so I left and contacted the finance company, I spoke with Alexis at 1800-634-1506, who informed me that they do not determine the sales price or charge any additional fees. The ONLY charge from the finance company is the finance charge itself (APR). When I contacted A1 in regards to the deception I spoke with a "manager" Scott Henderson who again lied to me by stating the $2,000 came from "fees" they incur from Credit Acceptance Corporation. Scott refused to provide a breakdown of said fees incurred on the specific vehicle we were looking to purchase. He then asked me repeatedly if I intended to purchase the vehicle from them or not. After asking them several times for a price. They finally came over to us with a contract to sign. The down payment went up 3 times yesterday. And the payment went up 3 times as well. When we told them NO DEAL they told us that we waisted their time. I totally lost it on them. They are liars. Please do your homework and have a mechanic look over your car BEFORE u sign anything. The first 2 cars that we test drove were never repaired. They were put back out on the lot for sale. These people are cold hearted. Told me the car i applied for was approved, went in and not only did they try to jack the price up $4,000 but they laughed at my credit score. I was rudely talked to and lied to enough and when i asked for my papers back to leave i heard walking out the door the salesman talking and laughing more about my credit score and saying it out loud for everyone to hear which is a federal offense and they SHOULD lose their business license which would do Winchester a favor. I will never go back or have anyone recommended for them! This place is why salesman have a bad name! Surprised the owner does nothing about this...but i have already looked into the legal departments. More
