I had one of the worst and most humiliating experiences at this Cadillac dealership, all because of the extremely unprofessional and disrespectful behavior of their manager, Pedro Betancourt. I was in the at this Cadillac dealership, all because of the extremely unprofessional and disrespectful behavior of their manager, Pedro Betancourt. I was in the middle of finalizing a deal for a car—a deal I had been waiting to close for FOUR HOURS—when he rudely interrupted the salesperson and abruptly decided to close the dealership, without even taking a moment to check the status of my deal or consider how far along the process was. What makes this situation even more infuriating is that I calmly approached him to explain my situation: I had lost my car in an accident just a week prior, and I had no means of transportation, making it absolutely urgent for me to get my vehicle that day. Instead of showing the slightest bit of empathy or professionalism, he insulted me and treated me with complete contempt. At that moment, it became very clear that I was being discriminated against. There was absolutely no valid reason for him to treat me the way he did. The way he spoke to me, his dismissive and aggressive tone, and the fact that he shut everything down without a second thought, made me feel unwelcome and singled out. It was as if my presence and my business didn’t matter at all. No one should ever have to feel belittled, disrespected, or discriminated against when making such an important purchase—especially at a dealership that represents a brand as prestigious as Cadillac. It is beyond unacceptable that someone with such an unprofessional, condescending, and discriminatory attitude is in a position of power. I absolutely do not recommend this dealership to anyone who values fair and respectful treatment. If this is how their management treats customers, I can’t imagine what other unethical behaviors they tolerate. More
