This is the fifth vehicle I have purchased from White River Toyota in 28 years and there is a reason I keep coming back. I feel like I get a straight story and although they certainly act like they want my business and they value it, they don't strong arm me. I can walk away, think it over, come back, get my questions answered and in the end I can make a calm decision without feeling manipulated. The other piece that I love about this dealership is that I have gotten great service on all my cars. I get the straight story, a fair price up front without any surprises. I have been in the dark about all the new advances Toyota has made to their cars since it has been 10 years since my last new Toyota. Bill and Jason were very patient with me explaining the new features on my new technically fully loaded car. Went to this dealership where I have bought 4 Toyota's since 1994, Chris Killmer has been my salesman every time, would recommend him highly.Going to a family funeral on Saturday, Sept 14th, need Toyota's since 1994, Chris Killmer has been my salesman every time, would recommend him highly.Going to a family funeral on Saturday, Sept 14th, needed to get my oil changed before leaving, the service dept got me right in, the very nice guy who greeted me when I drove in, came out to the waiting area WITH the air filter from my car to ask if I wanted to change it as it had some debris in it. I replied that I've been out of work for 5 wks after surgery on my back, I didn't think I had enough in my checking to cover the cost. He went back out to the service area, 5 minutes later I asked him if he thought the oil change guy would use an air hose to blow the debris out given the filter wasn't in that bad condition. He replied I think so.... While they finished the car, I checked to see if I could buy the filter. Turns out I could, so I decided to spend my $$ there. The next morning when I changed the filter, it still had the same debris in it!! It wouldn't have taken more than 60 seconds to blow out the filter! Makes me wonder what the guy said changing the oil? Was it "screw him, he won't buy the filter so he gets what he gets?" Who's coaching these guys with customer service in that department? This was a real disappointment, to me it's the little things that keeps people coming back no matter what the business. Ed DeNike More
