Went to this dealership where I have bought 4 Toyota's since 1994, Chris Killmer has been my salesman every time, would recommend him highly.Going to a family funeral on Saturday, Sept 14th, need Toyota's since 1994, Chris Killmer has been my salesman every time, would recommend him highly.Going to a family funeral on Saturday, Sept 14th, needed to get my oil changed before leaving, the service dept got me right in, the very nice guy who greeted me when I drove in, came out to the waiting area WITH the air filter from my car to ask if I wanted to change it as it had some debris in it. I replied that I've been out of work for 5 wks after surgery on my back, I didn't think I had enough in my checking to cover the cost. He went back out to the service area, 5 minutes later I asked him if he thought the oil change guy would use an air hose to blow the debris out given the filter wasn't in that bad condition. He replied I think so.... While they finished the car, I checked to see if I could buy the filter. Turns out I could, so I decided to spend my $$ there. The next morning when I changed the filter, it still had the same debris in it!! It wouldn't have taken more than 60 seconds to blow out the filter! Makes me wonder what the guy said changing the oil? Was it "screw him, he won't buy the filter so he gets what he gets?" Who's coaching these guys with customer service in that department? This was a real disappointment, to me it's the little things that keeps people coming back no matter what the business. Ed DeNike More
We went to White River Toyota for service and found our old truck was so rusted it was not only getting unsafe, but would be prohibitively expensive to fully repair. He carefully discussed our options and when we finally admitted it was time to upgrade, he personally showed us what was available in our price range. He patiently answered all our questions and, as the model we wanted was not on the lot, sent someone over to NY State to get us the perfect truck. If you have ever purchased a vehicle, you know the experience can be trying at best, but Pete is exceptional in every way. Not only does he know Toyotas backwards and forwards, he leads his dealership by example and puts his customers first. He stayed with us throughout the process, emailed and called us at home with updates, and treated us as if we were his only customers. His quiet demeanor gives one a sense of security and his integrity is unquestionable. In this day and age of bottom lines and shoddy service, Pete Stoddard is the flag bearer of the way things used to be: honorable, honest, friendly. When it came time for paperwork, it was a pleasure to find Tim Brousseau has returned to WRT’s financial office. He is one of the most pleasant people you will ever meet, and he managed to make the mountain of paperwork required for such a transaction seem more like a meeting between old friends than an interminable chore. The bottom line is, if you are looking for a new vehicle, service, or anything to do with a Toyota, White River Toyota is the place to go. Their motto is: “It’s all about people” and they not only believe this, they absolutely prove it every day by the way they conduct business. More

He went above and beyond his call of juty and I am overwhelmed with appreciation for him! It is hard to put into words how I feel about the service he has provided me but I can say whole heartedly that he is ONE IN A MILLION in the car sales world! I highly recommend calling Chris to anyone who may be interested in purchasing a Toyota or any other vehicle they may have on their lot!! He always greeted me with enthusiasm, answered all of my questions and email in a timely manner and never ONCE pressured me to purchase my car until I was 100% ready! I have owned the car for months now and had to call him for an emergency and he stopped everything he was doing to come help me! That is customer service on an entirely different level and I will forever cherish him! Dont waste any time at other toyota dealerships, make the drive or pick up the phone and call him or the sales managers. Trust me, you will be just as satisfied and grateful for being in such good hands!! I wish I started YEARS ago with them but can say for sure, I will never buy another car from another dealership! As problems with the truck surfaced, Dana kept me apprised and was careful to explain what needed to be done, what might be done, and what could wait. He let me know exactly what costs were involved and not only made sure I understood what was going on, but that every decision was mine to make. There was no push for “extras” or the slightest suggestion of doing more than was absolutely necessary to keep the truck road worthy. I thank Dana for his conscientiousness and for guiding me through what could have been a service nightmare. I have come to expect such excellence at White River Toyota, and Dana is a fine addition to this superb service department. More

Due to extenuating circumstances, I needed flexibility re: rates and monies down, signatures and pick-up times...and I was NEVER made to feel anything except completely supported. Hugh and Joe Ferrara had my back from the get-go. They even found a BETTER deal after sending out the paperwork....and they called me to halt the transaction so they could give me the better deal. What dealership seals a deal and then pushes the pause button so that the buyer comes out on top...even after the original deal served the dealership just fine? White River Toyota does. Thank you, Joe, for truly looking out for my best interest. And Hugh - I'd never go to anyone else for a vehicle. You genuinely listened to my needs, you helped me work through a tough situation, you patiently answered all of my questions, and you found me the perfect vehicle. And you always had a smile on your face. You're truly a tremendous guy. I will be sending you as many customers as I can. They'll be in the very best of hands. More

That evening he stopped by our home looked at our trade and the next morning he called us and gave us $1500 more for my trade than the local dealer here in Rutland. A few days later he delivered our new Highlander to us and we did the paper work at our home. From now on we will be sending our friends and family to Mr. Ferrara where we know they will get a fair deal from start to finish he also when above and beyond for us that meant a lot. More
