Due to extenuating circumstances, I needed flexibility re: rates and monies down, signatures and pick-up times...and I was NEVER made to feel anything except completely supported. Hugh and Joe Ferrara had my back from the get-go. They even found a BETTER deal after sending out the paperwork....and they called me to halt the transaction so they could give me the better deal. What dealership seals a deal and then pushes the pause button so that the buyer comes out on top...even after the original deal served the dealership just fine? White River Toyota does. Thank you, Joe, for truly looking out for my best interest. And Hugh - I'd never go to anyone else for a vehicle. You genuinely listened to my needs, you helped me work through a tough situation, you patiently answered all of my questions, and you found me the perfect vehicle. And you always had a smile on your face. You're truly a tremendous guy. I will be sending you as many customers as I can. They'll be in the very best of hands. More

That evening he stopped by our home looked at our trade and the next morning he called us and gave us $1500 more for my trade than the local dealer here in Rutland. A few days later he delivered our new Highlander to us and we did the paper work at our home. From now on we will be sending our friends and family to Mr. Ferrara where we know they will get a fair deal from start to finish he also when above and beyond for us that meant a lot. More
Today, I took our Rav-4 in for service and to have the summer tires put back on. This is my wife's car, so I decided to upgrade. Knowing little about tires, I went to Pete Stoddard (manager/owner) who has always made himself available should we have any questions or want a second opinion. He immediately dropped everything and introduced me to Todd Peck, the Parts manager. They asked me pointed questions about where and during what seasons the tires would be used and then made recommendations. Todd put what he had been doing on hold so he could check inventory after which he again conferred with Pete and me. Once they found the perfect tires for our needs, Pete Stoddard accompanied me back to Dana to assure absolute continuity. An hour later, Dana had the car ready and meticulously went through every aspect of the service. He even shared his personal experience with the chosen tires (excellent). The bottom line is that White River Toyota more than lived up to its reputation today. When they say: "It's all about people," they believe it and bend over backwards to make the experience as effortless as possible. I felt as if I had known these three gentlemen for years and they could not have treated me better had they been family. I cannot emphasize strongly enough how superb an outfit White River Toyota is and would not consider going to another dealer. In this day and age, it is indeed heartening to know there are still those out there who care enough to do the very best they possibly can. If you want the ultimate in expertise as well as a warm and friendly atmosphere, this is the place to take your Toyota (or to buy a new one!). More

I have been buying cars and pick-ups since 1970. Michael Rutkovsky was the best sales person I have every dealt with, with no exceptions. We decided that although we would check for other deals with a couple more Toyota dealers we would buy a car from Michael unless some other dealer was many hundreds of dollars less and White River Toyota would not get reasonably close to them for a deal. Of course, most dealers will be within reason close to one another. White River Toyota was the second lowest of the three but it was no big deal to go with Michael. Michael did not do the fake interest in some kind of thing he thought we were interested in like hiking or coin collecting or something. He had no fake friendliness and was just a real genuine person. He didn't try to be anything but a professional sales person. He returned calls when he said he would and he answered all my emails very quickly. One time he called me back and said he was right out straight and would get back to me as soon as he could. He got back to me within an hour. So, I would recommend this dealer and be sure to ask for Michael Rutkovsky when you go in. More

Overall, the experience of buying my 2007 certified used Toyota Prius was positive. It certainly went much quicker and more smoothly than my last car buying experience at a dealer. The saleswoman, Carol Toyota Prius was positive. It certainly went much quicker and more smoothly than my last car buying experience at a dealer. The saleswoman, Carol, was top-notch, not pushy, and always willing to be helpful. However Joe Ferrara was not straightforward with me on the phone when he called me to tell me my finance application had gone through. After telling me repeatedly he could easily get me 1.9% apr, as he'd already seen my credit report and relevant info, I found out after I was halfway through the buying paperwork with the finance manager, that my interest rate would be 8.6%. I had to find out from the finance manager going over the paperwork with me, and the way he mentioned it, he knew it might be a problem, and phrased it like "I'm not sure what Joe told you on the phone..." This was after I'd signed much of the other paperwork. I can't help but feel this was completely deliberate, in an attempt to get me back in the dealership so they could convince me to take it anyway. Everyone I'd talked to knew my budget constraint, and that the only reason I was buying this new a car was to get the lower rate. I did end up buying the car, and will pay it off early to avoid too much interest. However that part of the experience left a very bitter taste in my mouth, and the feeling of being lied to. Overall my experience was pretty good, and I do recommend the dealer, especially Carol, but make sure to ask ALL relevant questions if you are on the phone, as you may not be getting the entire truth. He got exactly what I wanted, beat the price I wanted to pay. His advice on options, warranty extension and dealer installed accessories (supercharger) were invaluable, straight forward and honest. I will buy my next vehicle from him again. We now have 2 cars/trucks from WRToyota in our family and I have several coworkers that also bought their vehicles there. All are extremely satisfied with the after sales service and customer followup. Over the years I had acquired an aversion to car dealership sales staff, Hugh has literally cured me of that. What a pleasure to deal with. No shenanigans. More

I contacted Chris at the end of September, looking for my new Rav. I had sold my 2010 Rav to a friend. My experience with Chris was awesome. I had to put together a deal in about three days, Chris was there every step of the way. I would recommend Chris to anyone out there looking for a vehicle. GO CHRIS....
