We apologize that your experience could have been improved. Joe is one of our Newest salesman and could probably use some improvement of product knowledge since the "break". Luckily, we have constant Product Knowledge training that will be back in full swing shortly. We are sorry if we convoluted the bargaining process as with Mazda we typically have our vehicles Priced for no negotiation necessary and like to make sure everything is full disclosure so one feels like they were deceived. However, it seems in your case that it was more beneficial for you to see the discount as added value on the trade so it seems is what was being done; instead of showing it off the car as a discount. I think what was meant with the rebate is that the loyalty rebate is typically much less, making the value of it with the 0% greater than is typical. Unfortunately because Whaling City is a group, our Mazda brand can't always compete with a Stand Alone Mazda Dealer. Seems silly but Mazda gives more to these dealers as wiggle room with the vehicle. That is why we always try to be the best in every way we can in order to compete. Hence why we employ the Best Mazda Technician in the whole USA (2019 stats) and typically have stellar customer service. Perhaps you could give us a second shot with our Highly Capable Mazda Service Department.
