Just bought a new 2012 Ford Explorer Limited today at Westway Ford. I did some research and requested an Internet Price quote from Westway Internet Department. After two days communicating through emails with Jennifer Cox, we agreed on the out-the-door price for the new vehicle. Compared to other Internet offers from other local Ford dealerships, this was the best deal I got for the vehicle that closely matched what I wanted. My family came in early this morning to pick up the vehicle. This was our first time driving to the Westway dealership from Plano. Damon Pompa, Internet Director, came out to meet us; Jennifer Cox took us out for a test drive; and Chris Martin explained and finalized the sales contract. While Jennifer had the vehicle washed and detailed, we completed the financial transaction with Richard Benavides. While waiting for the vehicle to be ready, Jennifer signed me up for my Sync account. Less than two hours later, we were able to drive off the Westway dealership with a new 2012 Ford Explorer of our choice. Jennifer has arranged to have a Sync demo session with us when we come back next week for a couple accessories items that we ordered for the new vehicle. All the people who we came in contact with at Westway were very nice and professional, especially Jennifer who was really helpful. The internet is a great no-haggle, no-hassle way to purchase a new vehicle. Be ready to do your homework. Show that you are serious and ready to purchase the vehicle if the deal is right. It works best when there is a mutual respect and understanding. Be reasonable and considerate for the sales people’s time and effort. Hopefully they will do the same for you while you are trying to get the best deal. Needless to say so far we are happy with the purchase and the sales team at Westway Ford in Irving. More
My experience was that nobody would commit to a price and there was poor follow up. Both Chris and Nick stated they could beat a price on a 2012 Mustang, but neither would commit to a final price on the pho there was poor follow up. I was constantly told to come to the dealership to finalize a price. I emailed to get their final offer... and heard absolutely nothing back from either. Other dealerships committed to a price through email and/or phone - why couldn't you? More

I was referred to this dealership by my family as they had purchased several vehicles from them. I already had a pretty good idea about which vehicle I wanted to purchase and just needed to figure out the had purchased several vehicles from them. I initially had some trouble getting to speak with Damon who I was referred to, but eventually he came out and advised the salesman to let me pick out the car and he'll do the pricing. They didn't have the car I wanted, but said they could get it from another dealership, but I ended up having to come back the next day because it got too late. The next day I went in and confirmed the vehicle I wanted. Damon came out and was able to offer me a great price on the vehicle, but I ended up getting a better offer from Five Star Ford in NRH since they already had a similar vehicle on their lot. I'll be sure to go back in a few years though when I'm back in the market for a vehicle. More

They must think I'm some kind of ignorant person. I already knew the internet price on a 10 Ford Truck that I asked to see it was 30k and some change the rookie so called sales man named Javier was trying to say something like 37K, I was looking at my Android phone while you were running your mouth saying that oh we took off 3k dollars. Yeah buddy I just swam across the Rio Grande! When I pulled the plug because honestly theses guys are rookies and didn’t realize I'm an informed consumer. I asked to get my keys back to my G35 the so called manager Kelvin Buckner had lost my keys... but they failed to tell me what was happening I had to ask him again I need my KEYS BRO I have to make the long trip back to Ft. Worth. I even went into the room that states private only authorised personal to find a bunch of desks full of snacks drinks and unorganized documents. Dirt and must was everywhere. I cant remember the last time I saw so many chip bags. Anyway as I told him to get me a new set and I will pick it up tomorrow he bluntly said you will have to pay for it and we will reimburse you. Yeah right. I was pissed off as I was leaving one of the bodyshop guys found them in the soda station because they were cold to the touch which means they were in the fridge. I will never look at West Way Ford or another Ford ever again I cant imagine Ford allowing this kind of torture on Americans. That's why I will continue to purchase Japanese and German cars. If you want the best experience go to Autobahn Motorcars in Fort Worth I bought my VW Passat there and the experience was as if I was buying a 80k car ask for Jerry he is the best. I would certainly not recommend this dealership as I had the most stressful experience with them. I was moving from NYC and needed to get a car here, so I visited the dealership about 3 weeks before moving. I bought a car, got financing and put a $5,000 down payment on it. The car had to be shipped from another dealership but I was fine with that since I only needed it 3 weeks later. Then less than a week before I was supposed to pick it up they told me they had sold it to someone else and they could not find another one for the same price (even though they had cashed my $5,000 check right away). They were willing to sell another one to me but it would be more expensive. I was shocked since they really pressured me into buying but they gave me very good discounts and that's why I signed. I think they just wanted to get the discounts back. I refused and I got my money back but this kind of "business" practices is very unprofessional and borderline unethical, and it created a lot of unnecessary stress! More
