I RECEIVED A CALL FROM WESTWAY FORD ON WEDNESDAY THE 14 DAY OF MARCH, THEY SAID WE HAVE GREAT REBATES AND WE CAN GET YOU APPROVED NO PROBLEM PLEASE COME SEE US AGAIN, WELL GUESS WHAT WHEN I GET THEIR AFTER ALL OF THE WAITING AND PICKING OUT A CAR THEY SAID WE COULD NOT GET YOU APPROVE. I SPOKE TO NICK AND DAMION AND EXPRESSED MY DISSAPOINTMENT WHY DID THEY HAVE TO CALL ME BACK AND MAKE ME GO THROUGH ALL OF THIS AGAIN. I WAS HONEST FROM THE START ABOUT ALL OF MY INFORMATION AND THEY DID NOT RETURN THE SAME COURTESY TO ME, NOTHING BUT LIES More
I bought a truck that had check engine light on. I told them I would not take possession of it till it was serviced and light turned off. They agreed. Everyday I had to call to check on the status of my truck. I was always told they were gonna go check on it and call me back. I never got a return call for any of my inquiries. This has gone on daily for a week. Finally they say they are not gonna fix the truck cause it will cost them too much money. I drove all the way over there again. I asked for my money back and they agreed. They said they hadnt put my check through. After waiting for awhile they informed me they would mail my check back to me this week. The very next day they cashed my check!! So they have my money and still have the truck and still won't return phone calls. More
Don't darken the doorway of this dealership. We called to ask about a vehicle, were given all the information, and told Omar we were coming in to look at it. We got a babysitter, drove across town (fighting horrendous traffic in Grapevine) and arrived only to find the car had been (gasp) sold just a few hours earlier. Really? We had just called two hours ago. Of course, Omar preceded to attempt to talk us into financing some different cars that were several thousand dollars over our budget. As we angrily walked out of the dealership, we were met by another customer in the parking lot who had experienced the same thing. We were so put off by the blatant lies of the Westway Ford employees that on our way home, we called back to ask about the same vehicle. AGAIN, they lied to us and said, "Oh yes, the vehicle is here, come take a look." Bait and switch, bait and switch, bait and switch. This is no way to treat customers. These guys are unethical liars and I wouldn't do business with them if they tried to give me a free car. Stay away. More

I had a great experience at Westway ford, Mr. Duran made it fun and easy for me to get a car....He was very helpful and gave me a great price. I live in the Houston area and was having a very bad experience with a local Houston dealer. They sent me an internet quote on the exact car I was looking for but when I got there, they didn't have the experience with a local Houston dealer. They sent me an internet quote on the exact car I was looking for but when I got there, they didn't have the car. The quote even turned out to be bogus (a "mistake"). To try to keep my business, they located the exact car in Dallas and said they would it get it for me. That was Saturday. On Monday he said they were working on it. On Tuesday morning, they were ironing out details and would have it in Houston Tuesday night. At 5:00pm on Tuesday, he called to say the Dallas area dealer sold the car. Three days wasted. I was buying it as a surprise for my son who was coming home on Thursday. I wasn't happy and made that clear. I knew the Dallas dealership was Westway Ford and called them at 6pm Tuesday night to find out what went wrong. I asked for a manager and got Damon Pompa. I explained the situation to Damon who located the car in his inventory and said it hadn't been sold at all. He said he would be happy to sell it to me and immediately agreed on the price. And how do you take delivery of a car that's 250 miles away? Damon made that easy as well. Vince drove it down to Houston the next day at no cost to me. We met in a hotel parking lot near the airport where Vince had the vehicle in "car show presentation" format when we drove up. He reviewed the features and we completed the paperwork. Vince got on an airplane back back to Dallas and I had the car I wanted in my driveway by 4pm Wednesday. Less than one day start to finish. That's fantastic customer service. Many thanks to Damon and Vince and everyone else at Westway Ford. Even from Houston, they will get my business on my next new Ford. More
I have purchased roughly 30 new vehicles in my lifetime and I have to tell you, this was by far,the easiest, most relaxing experience I have ever had when buying a new vehicle. From my first contact vi and I have to tell you, this was by far,the easiest, most relaxing experience I have ever had when buying a new vehicle. From my first contact via the internet, through the final signing of the financial documents, my wife and I were treated with the utmost respect and professionalism. I told Chris in my first email what I was looking for and what I had to work with and at that point he put me in contact with Damon. The two of them were a pleasure to work with. Once we got through the preliminaries and I went to the Dealership, Damon literally met us at the front door and the complete transaction went as smooth as glass. They had the vehicles that we had spoken about all in one area and there was no haggeling back and forth on price. They did exactly what they told me they could do and there was no attempt at pushing other vehicles or options on us. When we got to the financial department, the gentleman that helped us went out of his way to make the transaction quick and painless. I would like him to get a mention here but I can't recall his name. I do remember us discussing motorcycle racing at Laguna Seca in Northern California if this helps to recognize him for his great work. When we were ready to leave, Chris went over our new vehicle with a fine toothed comb and explained to us in detail how everything worked. The new technology in these new Fords is incredible and Chris even took the time to sync me and my wife's phone to the new vehicle for us. Buying a new vehicle for me, probably ranks right up there with eating canned spinach, which I hate with a passion. I have had some horrendous and uncomfortable experiences in the past when buying a new vehicle and it shouldn't be that way. It should be an exciting and happy experience and I can tell you, when I get ready to buy my next vehicle,Damon and Chris at Westway Ford will be the first people I contact. Phil More
